4.Friday. James load wagon & at sundries in morn..

John harness horses, mould tatoes with hoe__

Self to Ottawa with wagon, Con.._ with me__

took stone cartwheels to be re-ironed___

5Saturday. James at his tatoes, John about sundries &

mould tatoes in Old_Pigfield___Self had all

ready for to start home, but had to unload the wagon,

& stop all night, an account of heavy thunderstorm__

6Sunday. Self & Con.._ got back about 2 ¼ o 'C_ _____

7Monday. James about sundries & pile boards till noon .

then about sundries, & at dung_heap___,

John ill, ___Self at sundries & grind scythe^for James

dinner, then at Cow_loft floor__.

8Tuesday. James began to mow in Woodfield in morn..,

John & Tom about sundries & grind scythes in morn..

then mow in Woodfield ____ Self at sundries in morn..,

Bill a wether & at sundries till dinner, then at Cow_loft floor__

9Wednesday. James, John & Tom finish mow old part in

Woodfield by noon , then began next road,

further end of wheat___ Self finish Cow_loft floor

& rig up a shed for a calf at canoe_house____

10Thursday. James at his tatoes, John & Tom about

sundries & grind scythes in morn.._ then

rake up hay & cook it ___ Self sundries in..,

morn.. file rip_saw & began to repair horse_rake..

till dinner, then grind an ax & 3 chisels & at sundries__

11Friday. James mow till 9 o 'C_ make hay till dinner,

then help draw in, John mow till 9 o 'C. then at,

hay, Tom about horse in morn.._ make hay till

dinner, then draw in 4 o 'C loads ____ Self at

sundries in morn.._ then about hay__

12Saturday. James , John & Tom at Orange walk__

Self brought up Mary_Anne, Miss Dyer &

little Ham in Rob ts .. boat, took it back again_then

repair g .. home_rake & about sundries__

13Sunday. Charley drove Miss F. Coal & Miss Baker up

yesterday eve ng ..__ Church A.M. __

14Monday. James mould tatoes in Barnfield & do some raking

with horse at further end of Woodfield, John

mow above road, Tom sundries in morn.._mow for a

start, house hay & mow again, Payne & O'Neil about

sundries in morn.. about hay, & hoe tatoes a little while__

Self about sundries, rig up horse rake, do a little hay__

15Tuesday. James grind a new scythe 3 load from above road __

in morn.. then mow in Woodfield, John ill ,

Tom mow in Woodfield, Payne & O'Neil hoe tatoes__

Self sleep in morn.. repairg.. work boxes till dinner,

[then Payt..] down about in 1 ½ hours, grind Prov.. for Rob t .. & about sundries

16Wednesday. James finish mould tatoes with plough in

morn.. rake hay till near 11 o 'C then mow in

Self look about in morn.. repair post & bars at

18Friday. James mow till about 11 o 'C, work horse rake till

about 5 ½ o 'C. then mow again, John mow.._ Tom

sundries & saw till about 10 ½ o 'C. then draw in,

Payne hoe tatoes till 11 o 'C. then load hay, O'Neil, &

Fred hoe tatoes & about hay___ 1 load from above road,

Self look about things 4 load off this end of 16 Acrefield

hay & rake after the cart_____
