beef & salt it by dinner, then about sundries,
George about pigs & sundries in morn - , then saw
wood & at sundries______ Self fodder cattle &c

then help take shoes off both horse & burn lampas in all____
20 Sunday. Kate to Alicia's without any dinner, took
Hamnett & his little brother, Con's girl Mary went
with her; Self to Rob ts a little before sunset____
21 Monday. James about horses morn - & even g , help butcher
7 spring pigs, then saw some hardwood, George
about sundries & saw wood, do up cattle &c in even g ,
Rider butcher spring pigs by about 3½ o 'C, Payne
help up with water from river, help with pigs,
then both off home_____ Self fodder cattle in
morn - , fill ash barrel, to Benning's to bleed Cow &
about sundries till dinner, file meat-saw, & to Edward's___
22 Tuesday. James about horses in morn - , carry & help weigh
pigs, take out all the lard & salt the pork by dinner,
help cut up heads & about sundries, George saw
wood, wash 2 pork barrels & about sundries______
Self fodder cattle in morn - , cut off heads, cut down
back with knife & N o the pigs by breakfast, then
weight & cut 'em up, George had to help me finish
then on ac t of cutting my hand__________
23 Wednesday. James about horses, X-cut & split pine logs, draw down
1 load wheat straw & about sundries, George about
cattle &c, help X-cut pine logs, help down with the
straw & at sundries______ Self out the line to the
election in single sleigh from 10 o C till 2 o 'C_____
24 Thursday. James about horses in morn - , finish salt g
pigs heads &c & about sundrie till dinner, then
help get out double-sleigh, harness horses, tie the
boar, then saw wood, George fodder cattle morn - ,
& even g , finish pull g wool off, then about sundries &
saw wood__________ Self put 2 new hoops on a pork
barrel & at sundries till dinner, then rig up
lumber sleigh & took the Boar home__________

Self drove Kate & children to John Street 's & to

put straw to Old cellar door & saw wood till
dinner, the draw 2 load wheat straw to Cow-loft &
at sundries, Ge v orge at home till noon, then
