14.Thursday. James about horses in morn.., help rise the other
2 bents of long shed, finish clean up wheat by
12 o 'C, at shed again, Muldoon help at shed in morn..,
at tatoes till 4 o 'C, then help up with wall plates,
Tayler & Payne take out tatoes, Griffin about house
in morn, help rise shed & clean up wheat till 12 o 'C,
then at shed again,____ George at Richmond__
Walsh level g .. the ribbons & lower carriage again_
Lay rise g .. shed, make plates smaller & put 'em up__
15Friday. James sundries in morn.., fasten 1 post of longshed
in ground, to Berry's wharf in boat with Walsh's bose till
a late dinner, clean up peas, cart them & wheat to Mill_
Muldoon, Tayler, Payne take out tatoes, Griffin
about house in morn.., fasten the other post of shed &
at sundries till about 4 o 'C, then help clean up peas, then
do up the things___ George not here____ Walsh
finished yesterday even g .. & off to day by steamer___
Lay wedge & pin down plates, putting on rafters___
16Saturday. James sundries in morn, help at sundries about
flume till noon , then help grind, Muldoon,
Tayler, Payne, take out tatoes, Griffin about
house & help fill up tatoes in morn.., at sundries
& steam tatoes till dinner, then off home___ George
help fill tatoe bags in field, take out some of Con's tatoes,
saw some wood further, attend tatoe steamer & at sundries___
Lay finish put on rafters & nearly board up roof___
17Sunday. Church A.M. Self rode to Rob ts in even g .._
18Monday. James about horses & saw wood
in morn.., help put up & ring
spring pigs, then plough wheat stubble in
16 Acrefield, Muldoon help ring pigs & take out tatoes,
Tayler take out tatoes, Griffin back to a late breakfast,
put on a steamer for pigs, then no work, George
about house in morn.., take up some of Cow's tatoes
& about sundries___ Lay finish board up roof early &
began to strangle___ Self ring pigs, patch up lid
tatoe boiler with clay, measure boards &e, & at sundries___
19Tusday. James about horses & sow wood in morn.., then plough
Muldoon take g .. 3 head cattle out to Lay's till a late
breakfast, then at tatoes, Tayler takeg.. out tatoes
Griffin about house & sundries in morn.., to Rob ts for bags
then cart tatoes for pigs till dinner, then help at tatoes
& do up the things___ George help out with the cattle in
morn.. help in with tatoes for pigs till dinner, then saw wood
& in Gristmill_____ Lay shingle g .. longshed____
Self sundries till dinner, then work Gristmill___
20Wednesday. James about horses & sundries in morn.., then plough,
Muldoon, Payne, Fred take out tatoes,
Tayler plough & take out tatoes, Griffin about house
in morn.., steam tatoes & to Rob ts for shingles till
12 o 'C then saw wood for both houses & about sundries, George
at his tatoes____ Lay shingle g .. long shed___ Self sundries__
21Thursday. James about horses & saw wood in morn.., then plough,
worked Poll till dinner, then put in Filo, Muldoon,
Tayler, Payne & Fred take out tatoes,
Griffin about house & sundries, George at his tatoes___
Lay finish roof by dinner, then get base_boards ready___
Self to Rob ts on Filo before dinner, then as far as Lay's on Poll__
22Friday. James about horses in morn.., finish plough in 16 Acre_
_field all but head_lands about 10 o 'C, then plough
in Old Pigfield till dinner, measure up & put peas in Mill,
a row in a load wood for George , Muldoon & Payne
take out tatoes & clean up peas by dinner, at sundries &
measure up tatoes for Capt.. Cumming, Tayler drunk,
Griffin about house in morn.., steam tatoes, thrash
wheat for 2 or 3 hours, help measure up tatoes & at sundries__
George at sundries & help measure up tatoes___
23Saturday. James about horses in morn.., take a load of
tatoes in waggon to Rob ts wharf, then 2 loads of John's
things to Berry 's wharf, Muldoon sundries in morn..,
then help load & unload waggon, Tayler not here___
Griffin about house in morn.., help measure up tatoes
in field, steam tatoes, saw wood & at sundries, Payne
sundries in morn.., help measure tatoes & take them
in Ox cart to Rob ts , George help about tatoes
till dinner, then saw wood & at sundries___ Payne
took a load of John's thing to Berry 's wharf____
