14 Wednesday. James & Griffin bank up dam, Muldoon,
Kennady at dam in morn: reap & bind oats
till dinner, then thin out trees N o side 12 Acre-
-feild, Peter, Breen at dam in morn: reap & bind
oats__ George about house &c till dinner, take up
some feild tatoes & boil for Pigs__ Welsh pull down
river end of flume___ Self started for Ottawa
at 7½ o 'C. went to Rob ts came back on act: of high wind__
15 Thursday. James bank up dam, draw in a load of wheat
in even g , Muldoon at dam in morn:, then
with Self as far as Collin's clearence to clear road
till dinner, then cart chips from dam, help house
wheat, Gr v iffin v sick, Peter, Breen, Kennady
at dam in morn: finish reap oats soon after
dinner, then earth up dam, George at sundries__

16 Friday. James bank g up dam, Mu v ldoo v n clean up peas
till dinner, then draw wood for George, Griffin
help at flume & at dam, Peter help clean up &
peas, bank up dam, Breen & Kennady earth up

Welsh repair g dam____ Self got back a little
before 8 o 'C P.M. John's man rode Jessy up____
17 Saturday. James get in a load wheat in morn:, then
a load oats, put peas in Mill & at sundries
till dinner, then to woods for a stick iron-wood
for Gristmill gate, Muldoon help house wheat
& oats, peas to Mill & at sundries till dinner,
then bank up dam, Griffin in & Peter measure
up peas & take out some tatoes in morn:, at
sundries till dinner, then bank g up dam___
Settle with Breen & Kennady in morn: then off____
George about house, boil tatoes for pigs, & at sundries
till dinner, then scrub boiler outside & inside___
Welsh repair g flume_____ Self look about things,
pitch top of some Mill-dam posts & nail zink

18 Sunday. Church A.M. Self to Benning's after dinner,
then rode to John Street 's at sunset, called at
Berry 's & Rob ts on my way back____
19 Monday. James sundries in morn:, to woods
for 2 logs for dam, repair dam till 3 o 'C__
then draw in oats, Muldoon sundries in morn:,

Griffin kill a lamb in morn:, earth up dam
till 4 o 'C__ then help place at pipe at upper
end of stone bridge, Peter repair dam in morn:,
then take out a bag of tatoes, then do_ do_ & earth
up dam, George about house &c in morn:, boil tatoes
for pigs & at work in garden___ Welsh about
post for Gristmill water gate, make pipe to go at
upper end of stone bridge, face 2 cedars to mend dam__

21 Wednesday. James repair g dam till dinner, thrash wheat,
Muldoon cart g earth & at sundries about dam
till dinner, grind my ax, thrash oats, Griffin take
out a bag tatoes in morn:, bank up stone bridge &
quarry stone till dinner, thrash wheat, Peter at dam,
to Berry's with horse-cart for long bolts & at sundries till
dinner, thrash oats, George about house &c, boil tatoes for
pigs & saw wood___ Welsh at Gristmill water-gate,
repair g dam, get [out] eve boards for dam
