above road, Muldoon, Peter, Payne ,

& Tom take out tatoes, Griffin at tatoes in morn:,

caulk flume till dinner, take Walsh & his tools to

Rob ts in boat, at flume again, George about pigs

&c in morn:, finish off the patch on ceiling &

plaster old recess for iron chest__ Walsh finish

water-gate for gig-wheel & put on some new

corner peices in lower flume till noon then off___

Self iron hoop post of Grist mill water-gate___

13 Thursday. James catch horses & help put up Spring pigs

in morn:, then plough above road,

Muldoon, Peter, Tom, take out tatoes, Griffin

at tatoes in morn:, sundries & caulk flume till

dinner, then pull & husk corn, George about pigs

&c in morn: at sundries & steam tatoes, help at

corn & mix pigs food____ Self not very well all

day, clean up-stairs pipe & about sundries___

14 Friday. James after horses in morn: plough above road

till dinner, then catch Frilo & do in Old Pigfeild,

Muldoon thrash peas in morn: then at tatoes___

Peter thrash wheat in morn:, then at tatoes

Griffin saw hardwood in morn:, caulk flume

till dinner, took Kate & children in boat to Robt s

& back again, then house g corn, George about pigs

&c in morn:, repair up at Jame's,

then churn & help at corn___ Self at sundries

till dinner, then to Ottawa by Steamer, took Poll

across & rode from Aylmer , Arabella by stage____

15 Saturday. James after horses in morn:, plough in Old

Pigfeild N o side till dinner, draw wood for

Griffin at tatoes & sundries till dinner, then

at corn, George about pigs &c, steam

tatoes & at sundries___ Self in Ottawa___

16 Sunday. Church A.M. Self & Arabella returned

in buggy a little before 1 o 'C__ Self very cold___

17 Monday. v Jam v es , draw wood for himself till dinner,

finish plough Old Pigfeild N o side at 3 o 'C,

then go on above road, Muldoon, Peter,

Brein , Tom O'hara take out tatoes___

Griffin to Berry 's for oakum in morn:,

then at sundries, kill a roaster & caulk flume

till dinner, then at tatoes__ George about pigs

&c morn: & even g , steam tatoes & mix 'em,

saw & split wood___ Self look about till

9 o 'C; then rode to Henry Street 's, left the mare

there & pulled his boat to Shirly's, got home to

dinner, took furs out of barrel' new point d plough__

 

18 Tuesday. James after horses in morn:, finish plough

pea stubble in Woodfeild by dinner, then do

newland N o side creek, Muldoon, Peter,

Brein, Tom, O'hara at tatoes in morn: then

bring in a load for Pigs & at tatoes again___

at tatoes till dinner, then to Aylmer___

George about pigs &c morn: & even g to Brewery

for yeast, saw wood & at sundries___

19 Wednesday. Jam v es at home ill, Muldoon at tatoes in

morn:, help ring pigs, at tatoes again,

Peter at tatoes in morn:, help ring pigs, & help

catch John Pinheps mare, then plough old oxen in

newland N o side creek, Brien, O'hara, Tom

finish take out feild tatoes, Gr v iffin v not here___

George about pigs &c morn: & even g steam tatoes &

mix 'em, cut down asparagus___ Self ring

pigs & at sundries till 11 o 'C, then pin pl k in flume__

20 Thursday. James sundries in morn:, then catch horse &

plough fallow in new land, Muldoon at

sundries, tie corn stalks into bundles, take out tatoes

in garden, Peter at sundries in morn:, plough

old oxen in newland, Griffi v n not here, Brein

sundries in morn:, reap corn stalks & help tie up,

then at tatoes in garden, Tom help grind axe,

X-cut a junk oak for pins, bore holes in flume__

George about pigs & morn: & even g steam tatoes
