James saw 2 or 3 cuts in morn:, wash sheep & saw till dinner, sleep 2 or 3 hours & saw again, Muldoon about horses & sundries in morn:, wash sheep, put 5 th log on fence, Peter sundries in morn:, wash sheep, help at do, Griffin make pickets in morn:, catch & dag sheep, put on bunks__ George about cows &e, help catch sheep & at sundries__ Murphy finish dress g stones about 4 o'C, then jack & prepare for laying down____ Self see too things till noon, to Rob ts with Doll, come back took out Major_____
2 Saturday. James saw in morn: harrow tatoes, at sundries & saw again, Muldoon about horses & sundries in morn:, repair fence upper side road, Peter plant his tatoes in morn:, help ate fence__ Griffin at John Wilsons__ George about cows &e, do some work in garden & about sundries__ Self help lay down stone & at sundries till dinner, then repair bars on Old hill-road___ Murphy finish d soon after breakfast, walked about till noon, got a bite to eat, off by boat___
3 Sunday. Church P.M.
4 Monday. James pile lumber in morn:, run a few cuts, & at sundries about Sawmill till dinner, saw again & at sundries for an hour in even g _ Muldoon & Peter grind g a small ax (Blasdel's) till 5 o'C, then repair g fence above road, Griffin shear 33 sheep & 2 of Payne's__ George about cows &e, catch sheep for Griffin & saw wood___ Self at repairs in Saw-mill, put most of the wool in bags & weigh some___
5 Tuesday. James about sundries in morn: then began to repair part of S o side-line fence, Muldoon draw a few logs to mill & some logs to the fence in morn: then draw some bunk stuff & help at fence, Peter help in with logs to mill & help with wash g water in morn:, then at fence____ Griffin rest g himself a few hours, then to Rob ts to borrow fence auger & on to Berry's for hops & at sundries till dinner, then at fence___ George about cows &e, plant out caulie-flowers___ Self to Ottawa in buggy, took 15 fleeces in 4 bags________
6 Wednesday. James about S o side-line fence, Muldoon at the fence till dinner, then draw wood for George , Peter & Griffin fixing pickets & bunks on the fence___ George about cows &e, at work in garden____ Self got back 20 m past 8 o'C___
7 Thursday. James saw in morn:, X-cut logs for pickets for new fence & to the woods to cut a load top-logs for S o side-line fence, Muldoon draw g logs to the do__ do_ do_ till dinner, & to woods for a load after, then regrind g Prop's ax, Peter at sundries in morn:, help X-cut picket stuff & make pickets till dinner, to woods for a load top-logs for S o side-line fence, turn grindstone, Griffin at sundries in morn:, split stuff for pickets till about 3 o'C, then patch dung out of long cow-shed, Self George about cows &e, do some work in garden till about 3 o'C, till the rain began___ Self measure boards, look about fences, put a handle in Blasdel ax____
8 Friday. James at new fence till dinner, then saw_ Muldoon & Peter put up top logs on S o side-line fence by dinner, grind axes for a start, then at new land fence__

George about cows &e, do some work in garden & about sundries_______ Self at sundries till dinner, put some new washers on buggy axles & new loops on the shafts____
9 Saturday. James saw in morn: help at repairs about lower flume till 5 o'C, saw again, Muldoon draw logs to mill in morn:, help at new land fence, Peter & Griffin roll logs to mill in morn:, then at pickets & bunks of new land fence___ George about cattle &e, saw wood & about sundries__ Self at sundries in morn: repair g lower flume till 5 o'C, then to Mrs Bridges & Rob ts on horse-back____
