20. Wednesday. James at stumps & help fix up foal for a while after breakfast, Muldoon & Peter dig round 4 large stone in fallow, then at stumps, Griffin at stumps till dinner, mow poultry yard &e, then hoe tatoes in garden__ George about cows &e, finish do corn then at tatoes__

21 Thursday. James at stumps in morn:, help fix up foal, at sundries & stumps till dinner, measure lumber & sow, Muldoon & Peter at stumps___ Griffin at stumps, help with foal for a while after breakfast, George about cows &e, weeding parsnips____ Self to Ottawa__

22 Friday. James about foal, at stumps & sundries, Muldoon & Peter at stumps, Griffin about the foal for a start, then at stumps___ George about cows &e, weeding garden____ Self returned about dark, very poorly___

23 Saturday. James at stumps in morn:, help about foal, & help Collins with scaffold &e till about noon, then at stumps, Muldoon & Peter at stumps___ Griffin at do in morn:, help fix up the foal, & help at scaffold for a while, then at stumps___ George about cows &e, help at scaffold for a while, at work in garden___ Self poorly all day, did nothing but attend to foal___

24 Sunday. Tom Collins worked about ¾ of a day yesterday__

25 Monday. James help ring pigs & fix up foal in morn:, at stumps till dinner, then to woods for a load cedars to repair Churchfeild fence, Muldoon help ring the pigs, then to Aylmer, Peter help ring pigs & fix up foal in morn:, then at stumps & help put on some riders to Churchfeild fence, Griffin help fix up foal, mow in front of house, then at stumps, George about cows &e, hoe tatoes & at sundries___ Tho s Collins came at dinner-time, began to shingle__ Self not very well__

26 Tuesday. James at stumps & attend to foal, Muldoon not at work, Peter & Griffin at stumps, & attend to foal, George about cows &e,

James at stumps in morn:, mow tops off thistles in wheat till dinner, hoe corn, carry hay out of garden to cow-loft, gather up old shingles, Muldoon at stumps in morn:, help at scaffold till dinner at do_ again__ Peter at stumps in morn:, mow tops off thistles in Barnfeild till dinner, at stumps again___ Griffin at stumps in morn:, pull mustard out of oats in 16 Acre-feild & help repair bars of cedar meadow till dinner, at stumps again__ George about cows &e,__ Collins finish shingle front side of barn in morn: change scaffold &e__ Self repair g posts &e of swamp-feild till dinner, then fit new teeth in scuffler____

30 Saturday. James scuffle g tatoes, Muldoon, Peter & Griffin dress up tatoes with hoes__ George about cows &e___ Collins at barn till dinner, then off home__ Self to Ottawa in buggy, started at 5 o'C A.M. got back about 9½ o'C at night, Charley with me__
