2Tuesday. James about horses in morn.., at home for an hour to
cut wood, then draw in 5 loads hardwood with
horses, Muldoon about cattle &e in morn.., then draw
hardwood part of the way out, Peter help at horses
in morn.., chop hardwood, Griffin not here___
George at home till noon , then attend to things,
help weigh & stow dinnerl bring in one set salt g .. beef ,
weigh flour, put new handle in Muldoon's sawlogs ax__

hardwood, Muldoon sundries in morn.., chop
hardwood, Peter help at horses in morn.. chop hardwood,

for a drive on ice before dinner

8Monday. James about horses in morn.., x-cut & help lay
up 4 logs out of the last tree they fall, also 3 logs
out of a tree up at Payne's,
Muldoon sundries in morn.., help at sawlogs &
draw 4 of 'em home in 2 trips, Peter help at
horses in morn.., chop hardwood, Griffin not here,

load hay to cow_loft, ring pigs, put saw_dust at old
on ice & at sundries about dam & sawmill for James
till dinner, then to the woods to chop hardwood_____
