horses in morn.., draw logs to mill, draw stones out of 13 Acre_

_field with cart & crotch, Peter at home , George about cattle &e,

do some work in garden, Griffin at sundries in morn.., help at

logs & stones_____ Self set & file millsaw, then to the forge

with Poll & Spring, Tom casey rode the latter____

27Saturday. James work sawmill, Muldoon about horses in

morn.., at stones in 13 Acre_field & draw 1 load hay

to cow_loft, & 1 to horses, Peter at home, Griffin in about

cattle &e till 9 o 'C, then help at stones & hay, George at

home till dinner, then about house &e____ Self about

sundries till 9 o 'C, then help at stones & hay, George at

home till dinner, then about house &e____ Self about

sundries till 9 o 'C, then to the Interior to get Major shed,

& see D r .. Church's mare, did not return till 8 o 'C____

28Sunday. Church A.M.

29Monday. James works sawmill, Muldoon about horses in

morn.., a_x to Merrie_field in Rob ts .. boat to put

up Herd-man's fence & back to mill landing by 10 o 'C,

then draw stones on crotch out of 13Acre_field & fill up

holes, Peter at homes, Griffin at sundries in morn..,

a-x the river, help at stores & fill up holes, George

about cattle &e, take back Rob ts .. boat & on to M rs Bridges

till dinner, then at sundries & help load 3 heavy stones___

Self kill the calf & at sundries till dinner, then rig out

the new yoke with staple &e, then help drive second yoke__

30Tuesday. James work sawmill, Muldoon about horses in

morn.., draw logs to mill, then get things ready

& began to plough grass land, Peter at home, Griffin

at sundries in morn.., help in with logs to mill,

help remove cups to Old cellar & about sundries___

George about cattle &e, help bark some logs, & help

remove tatoes____ Self rup up iron plough & drive horses__

MAY 1861.

1Wednesday. James work sawmill, Muldoon about horses in

morn.., plough grass land, Peter at home,

Griffin about sundries in morn.., finish remove

cups to Old cellar, pile lumber till dinner, cart stones

off some grass land in Woodfield ready to plough__

George to Berry 's in morn.., help remove the cups,

& pile lumber, then dig in garden___ Self drive,

horses till near 11 o 'C, then heat point of iron_plough &

make it level by dinner, drive horses for a start, then look about__

2Thursday. James work sawmill, Muldoon about horses in

morn.., draw logs to mill, plough grass_land,

Peter at home, Griffin about cattle &e morn.. &

eveng.., help in with logs to mill, cart stones in

Woodfield, George at home____ Self help with

logs to mills at sundries till dinner, then oil axels

of buggy, take Kate to Edward's round by Allen's_

3Friday. James work sawmill & pile boards for a start__

Muldoon about horses in morn.., plough ice__

Peter at home, Griffin about cattle &e in morn..,

finish cart stones & level in some stump_holes

till dinner, then began to plough, do up cattle &e

at night, George at home_____ Self file &set

mill_saw after breakfast, began to make a third

whipple_tree for ploughing, to Brewery in buggy

in eveng.. picked up Bousing there, _______

4Saturday. James work sawmill, at sundries for about

2 hours in after_noon, Muldoon about horses

in morn.., plough grass_land, Peter at home,

Griffin about cattle &e morn.., & even g .. fill up

more stump_holes & plough, George at home___

Self to Armstrong's forge in buggy till dinner,

then finish the whipple_tree & about sundries____

5Sunday. Church P.M. Self too Kate in buggy to Rob ts in even g ..__

6Monday. James work saw mill till dinner, help after the

boar & replace a post of 3 d .. bars of 16 Acre_field,

till 4 o 'C, saw again, Muldoon about horses in

morn.., finish grass land in 12 Acre_field about

10 ½ o 'C, then began do_ do_ do_ in 16 do_ do, help

catch the boar Peter, at home, Griffin at sundries

in morn.., plough lee in Woodfield, help after

the boar, George about cattle &e, saw 5 row with

the peas Mrs.. Butler brought, dig for parsnips, sow

a bed of my old peas & at sundries___ Self at sundries

till dinner, after the boar, put up bars of meadows
