James saw till near 11 o'C, cart a small load hay from cow-loft to Horses & began to remove logs from stone-bridge road, Muldoon out back, Peter about horses & sundries in morn:, cart a load earth to mill dam, help remove hay, & help take away logs from stone-bridge road, Griffin came at dinner, but no work; Moran at 2 pine stumps N o side Creekfeild, George at work in garden & about cows &e____ Self weigh g up wool

20 Thursday. James draw away logs from stone bridge road, Muldoon out back, Peter help at do_ in morn:, help put pickets & bunks on Creekfeild fence, Griffin saw bunks in morn:, then fit & bore them on fence, Moran at the stumps in morn:, then help at road, George about garden, cows &e___ Self to Ottawa in buggy at 7 o'C A.M.___

21 Friday. James cart stones on stone-bridge road,__ Muldoon not here, Peter help at fence___ Griffin bore & fix on bunks, Moran help at road, George about sundries in garden & out of it__

22 Saturday. James at road in morn:, roll wheat in Woodfeild & help at stumps in Creekfeild__ Muldoon not here, Peter & Griffin picket & bunk fence, Moran at stumps in Creekfeild fallow__ George hoe g corn & about sundries____

James about horses & cart stones to road in morn:, pile soft-wood, cut last spring, Muldoon not here, Peter split wood in morn:, then snag cups__ Griffin help split wood viz-a-viz work-shop in morn:, then help pile soft-wood___ George at sundries in morn:, then hoe g tatoes__ Self about act: measure lumber, put in 2 panes__

 

 

 

 

 

 

25 Tuesday. James about sundries in morn:, then pile hardwood in woods, Muldoon came at noon, help away tatoes, Peter snag tatoes, Griffin at sundries in morn:, help pile hardwood____ George put on a boiler of tatoes, hoe tatoes, help in Gristmill in afternoon______ Self file mill-saw & to Berry's in buggy before dinner, then put Gristmill in order for work & grind some__

26 Wednesday. James at sundries in morn:, pile lumber, cart rubbish from quarry to stone-bridge road, Muldoon sundries in morn:, then went home on act: of squabble with girl, Peter finish snag tatoes, help pile lumber & load cart, began to dig after a leak in dam, Griffin ill___ George at sundries in garden, help in Gristmill___ Self work Gristmill___

27 Thursday. James at sundries in morn:, then repair dam, Muldoon to Ottawa__
Peter repair mill-dam road, Griffin help repair dam, George hoe g tatoes & corn, boil a pot tatoes for pigs & about sundries____

James clean up drains of stone-bridge road till dinner, then about sundries____ Muldoon at home, Peter cart earth to stone-bridge road, Griffin help load at quarry, George weeding in garden, boil a pot of tatoes for pigs & about sundries_____ Self look about till dinner, then to the forge with Poll.
