13Sunday. Church P.M. Ham Hill came up & returned
by the Steamer yesterday____
14Monday. James & Peter grind & rig their scythes by
6 o 'C A.M, then mow Muldoon & Griffin
mowing___ George about cows &e, kill a
roaster & weeding garden____ Self down the
township till dinner, then measure lumber____
Ham Hill & M rs .. Christie came up by land
yesterday morn.. to breakfast, returned this morn..__
15Tuesday. James, Muldoon & Peter mowing, Griffin
mow & make g .. hay for about 2 pairs___
Payne grind & rig his scythe & rake up hay till
dinner, then mow, George about cows

16Wednesday. James & Peter mow in morn.., help rig up
horse rake & do_ till noon, rake up hay
till 4½ o 'C, mow again, Muldoon mow in
morn.., draw wood for George till noon, then
rake up hay & mow, Payne came at noon,

17Thursday. James mow in morn.., rake with horse till 3 o 'C,
then cook up, mow again for a start, Muldoon
Peter, Griffin & Payne mow in morn.. then make
& cook hay, George about cows &e, kill a roaster,
& at sundries_____ Self to William's forge
with Doll's, got back a little after 2 o 'C, to dinner,
then sell 4 year old Lay @$16_.. &
