fill up tatoes, Peter cart in tatoes, Griffin
at sundries till 9 o 'C, cut, bind & help house corn_stalks,
finish pick up & cover garden tatoes, O'hara'son help
fill a load tatoes in morn.., finish take out &
partly pick up garden tatoes by sunset, then off home__
George about pigs & steam tatoes, then prune apple_trees_
Self at floor for tatoe bin in N o .. 1 cellar_____
16Thursday. James plough g .. Muldoon fill up tatoes till
dinner, to Rob ts .. for some parcels, then split
big junk's in shed, Griffin at sundries till dinner,
then thrash wheat, Peter cart in tatoes do_ do_,
then do_ peas, Toolie fill up tatoes till dinner,
then thrash wheat, Moran do_ do_ do_,
then do_ peas, George about pigs, steam tatoes,
prune apple trees till dinner, saw soft_wood
in shed, Collins came at 8½ o 'C, match sides & ends
for sleigh box, make ladder for kitchen roof___
Self making tatoe bin in N o .. 1 cellar___
17Friday. James about pigs, steam tatoes & saw wood till
noon, then plough, Muldoon sundries in morn..,
cart down wheat & pea_straw, cart 2 loads of slabs up
from mill, then help fill up tatoes, Peter thrash peas in morn..,
turn grindstone, help stow away the straw, then cart in tatoes,
Griffin not well, Toollie thrash wheat in morn.., to Rob ts .. for
remainder of the parcels, turn grindstone for a start,
then fill up tatoes, Moran thrash peas in morn.., help
with straw, then fill up tatoes, George ill, Collins put
sleigh box together_____ Self look about in morn.., grind
hatchet, finish tatoe bin soon after dinner look about & at sundries__
18Saturday. James finish plough pea_stubble a little before
sunset, then began in Old Pig_field N o .. side__
Muldoon fill up tatoes till noon, then draw
wood for himself, Peter cart in tatoes till
11 o 'C, then cart manure in Old Pigfield,
Toollie fill bags in field till 11 o 'C, house garden
tatoes, gather up dung at Wh t .. barn & Muldoon's
Moran fill up bags in field till 11 o 'C, help house
garden tatoes & scrape up dung at Wh t .. barn till
dinner, then help load horse_cart, Griffin at
sundry jobs all day, George about pigs, steam
tatoe, prune big apple_tree & about sundries__
Collins get g .. out sleigh pole till dinner, then paint
sleigh box, roof_ladder & wheel_barrow_____
Self look about_things & do a little to sawmill___

20Monday. James take out his tatoes, Muldoon cart dung to
upper end of Wood_field, Peter cart earth from
about the house in Old Pig_field, on to the same
field till 4 o 'C, then cart dung from Muldoon_____
Griffin about sundries in morn.., help load dung
& saw hard_wood, Toollie help load horse_cart_
Moran not here; George about pigs, steam tatoes &
at sundries in garden____ Self level & fix new
box under_crank, get wheel back to it place &e____

in morn.., help load dung & clean wheat till
dinner, help Self in sawmill & about sundries
again, Toollie spread dung in Old Pigfield & clean
wheat till dinner, then help load both carts__
George about pigs, steam tatoes, saw wood & do a
little in garden, Collins paint ladder, make the
roller & braces____ Self iron. band crank_

22Wednesday. James plough down dung in Woodfield till
about 3 o 'C, then clear away things in Sawmill
& saw, Muldoon finish clean wheat in morn..,
then cart dung, Peter cart dung till 3 o 'C,
clean up peas for a start, do_ do_ again,__
Griffin kill calf, help in Gristmill till
dinner, prepare for cleang.. peas, then thrash wheat__
Toollie help load carts, thrash wheat for a start_
Moran help clean wheat in morn.., spread dung
till 3 o 'C, do_ do_ peas & at sundries, George about pigs,
steam tatoes & at sundries, Collins at roller & pole, paint sleigh_
caps for posts foundation of sleigh____ Self sundries & grind till dinner,
