in morn.., chop hardwood; Griffin thrash oats;

George about cattle &e, turn grind_stone, split

dry pine junks & about sundries______

Self grind a lot of tools, put a cog in gig_wheel___

7Friday. James work saw mill; Tom & Tooly about horses in

morn.., chop hardwood; Griffin ill, but he

thrashed 7 stukes oats (the last); George about cattle &e,

& about sundries___ Self about sundries & patch pipe of pump___

8Saturday. James work sawmill; Tom & Tooly about horses in

morn.., draw logs to mill, edge up their axes,

chop hardwood; Griffin not well in morn.., let go

the couple, boil & mix 2 pots tatoes & about sundries;

George about cattle &e in morn.., then to the Interior___

Self help with logs to mill, point the saw,

level up tail_block, repair g .. pump again & at sundries___

10Monday. James sawing in morn.., help in Gristmill till 1 o 'C, dinner,

then saw again; Tom & Tooly about horses in morn..,

make 16 sawlogs up lake_road; Griffin saw wood

in morn.., clean & measure up oats & draw ‘em

down; George about cattle &e in morn.., help clean

& measure up most of the oats, help stow away the

first load,______ Self work Gristmill till 1 o 'C, then

carry up hams & cho & hang ‘em up, then stow away oats__

11Tuesday. James sawing & pile boards for about 2 hours in

afternoon; Tom & Tooly about horses morn.., &

even g .. make 13 logs S o side Lake_road; Griffin

saw & split wood in morn.., draw down a load

oat_straw & at sundries till 11 o 'C, then sweep out

the barn & thrash wheat; George about cattle &e in

morn.., help with the straw & at sundries till dinner,

repair 2 places in dam & to Edward's about sundries___

Self repair g .. things in hen_house & at sundries till dinner,

repair dam, measure lumber, wash & gr Polls legs___

12Wednesday. James sawing; Tom & Tooly about horses in morn..,

pick over tatoes till dinner, then x-cut some

soft_wood & 1 sawlog; Griffin thrash wheat,

George about cattle &e, take some bad tatoes & some

earth cut of cellar & about_sundries____ Self mend

a flail, put a rivet Horace's knife, fit a new bow yoke.

13Thursday. James sawing, help greese stone_cart, pile boards for

a start; Tom & Tooly about horses in morn.., re-

-pair fence round Kitch.. garden, draw logs to mill &

cart earth to dam till dinner, then x-cut & split
