Thursday.James about horses, draw dawn a load of straw, then clean up
wheat, saw wood for porch, John fodder- cattle in morn ~... help in horse
stable help with straw and done up wheat, saw soft wood Self put rivets in
fender & at other repairing about cuter, file old cross-cut, fodder all
but the sheep at night.
18. Friday James
about horses in morn... draw down a load pea-straw, bring in 2 load hard
wood, carry up some earth from cellar, saw some short wood, John about
cattle &c., help with pea-straw, then thrash peas ~ Self repairg
the pump til dinner, then at repairs about front-door, & about sundries

sundries, water from river in morn... thrash peas, clean out grain - stable
~ Self weigh & stow away flour, then at repairs about parlour door &
at sundries

about horses in morn... draw down 1 load pea straw, 1 load soft-wood by
dinner, then measure up tatoes , John sundries & help about horses in
morn... help with pea straw, then thrash peas & saw wood -- Self to
Aylmer before dinner, then to Robt's with Kate & children

James about horses in morn. draw in 2 load by dinner, then 1 load hay for
cow-loft & saw wood, John about cattle and load tatoes in morn, thrash
peas, help down with hay ~ Self to Ottawa with tatoes . Ham up last night
and returned this morn.,.took Con's girl down & I brought her back ~
