Self to Wainman's after dinner___

29Thursday. James saw wood in morn.., grind scythes..

ready to mow peas & help grind George's axe till dinner

mow & pile weeds in little Pigfield, then mow weeds

in new land, Muldoon , Tayler , Griffin all away___

George about house & turn grind stone till dinner,

then sow g .. wood___ Self to Rob ts on Poll in even g ..__

30Friday. James sundries in morn.., then at logging,

Muldoon & Griffin not here, Tayler do__

Payne George sundries

till dinner, then at logging___

Self to Ottawa in waggon____

till about 11 o 'C. grind ax & &

saw wood till dinner, then at

nothing, Muldoon not here, Payne

pile brush & at sundries till

dinner, then off home__ George about house &

rake up some of the paths in fore-noon___

4Wednesday. James & Tayler saw wood in morn.., then at the

loging, Payne came just after breakfast, then

help at do_ between showers__ Muldoon not here___

George about house & help a little at loging___

Self hang back door of sheep_house, nun 3 or 4

cuts in sawmill till 2 cogs broke in gig_wheel,__

5Thursday. James, Tayler & Payne at the logging, George

about house in morn.., at sundries & do_ till dinner,

then help in sawmill___ Self repairg.. sawmill

till dinner, then saw timber for a shed___

6Friday. James put his sister a_X in morn.., at loging

till about 4 o 'C, then to Rob ts for his boat to go for

his sister__ tayler, Payne at the loging__ Muldoon

dinner, then help in sawmill__ Lay patch g ..

roof of little log barn till noon , then off___

Self repairg.. leaks in flume till dinner, then saw

timber for shed___
