Mowbry's all night____

11Saturday. James, Muldoon brand g .. up, Tayler help g .. till

breakfast, then off to Ottawa___ Griffin ret nd

round with Con's wedding cake___

Self came in from Mowbry's before breakfast___

12Sunday. Church P.M. by Boulton Start d .. Mary 11 o 'C at night.

13Monday. James & Griffin pile roots in new land till

breakfast, cart stones off 16 Acre_field till noon ,

then finish draw in oats____ Muldoon not here,

Tayler at home____ George about house & saw wood__

14Tuesday. James at John's, Muldoon at home,

Griffin & Tayler at sundries in morn.., finish

cart stones off 16 Acre_field about 4 o 'C, then stir

up log_heaps____ George about house & sundries

till 4 o 'C, then to Ottawa with John Pinhey____

Self to Do__ in buggy__

15Wednesday. James & Tayler brand g .. & picking up roots

in new land, Muldoon at home, Griffin

help clean up newland, and about house & sundries__

George & Self got back about 7 ½ o 'C, at night__

16Thursday. James & Tayler thrash g .. peas, Muldoon at home,

Griffin thrash g .. wheat___ George at sundries___

Self sundries till dinner, began to saw maple log__

17Friday. James & Tayler draw down a load pea_straw

in morn.., clean g .. up new land till dinner,

then cart stones for shed, Muldoon at home,

Griffin sundries in morn.., at roots in new land

till near noon , help dig foundation for shed

& help at stone wall__ George about house &

sundries, began to dig foundation & began the wall.

18Saturday. James & Tayler at sundries in morn.., cart

stones & repair bridge going up to workshop

till dinner, draw sand & lime & at stones

again, Muldoon at home, Griffin kill lamb

in morn.., build wall, mix mortar & about

sundries___ George at sundries till about 11 o 'C,

then in buggy for John____ Self about sundries__

19Sunday. Church A.M. Charles & M r Carriere came up

by boat yesterday morn.., went back this afternoon

Ham's sulkey which John brought up last night__

20Monday. James at sundries in morn.., chop & draw horse

2 sawlogs by noon , then saw them up for rafters___

Muldoon at home, Tayler sundries in morn.., help

chop the 2 sawlogs & saw wood next door till dinner,

cart a few load stones for shed, then cart 3 load stone

off churchfield, Griffin at wall for shed__ George

about house in morn.., then at do_ do & sundries__

Self squaring off stone wall till noon , rode out to

meet Mowbray's funeralm then level back wall of shed__

21Tuesday. James finish sow rafters in morn.., cart 4 load

stone off churchfield, then cart stones out of Barn_

_field S o side drain till dinner, then with Millwright,

Muldoon not here, Tayler sundries in morn.., help with

stones off churchfield, then cart stones out of Barnfield_

Griffin bad eye___ George at the shed wall & at

sundries___ Maurice Walch began after

dinner to pull down part of under flume______
