12.Friday. James about horses in morn.. to J. Street 's for
the tackle & at sundries till dinner, then to
Ottawa in waggon with carrots &e for Con, Muldoon
sundries in morn.., help butcher the cow till dinner,
then house tatoes, Tayler saw wood in morn..,
help a start with Cow, load waggon with carrots &e,
till dinner, house tatoes, Griffin about pigs & nearly
fill steamer by about 9 o 'C, butch Cow by dinner, then
mix frogs food & steam tatoes, help load waggon till dinner,
help bring in tatoes___ Self look about, file meat saw__
13Saturday. James got back about 7 o 'C, at night with 2 girls__
Muldoon saw wood, house a few bags tatoes for
pigs & about sundries, Tayler split wood in morn..,
bring in some tatoes from field, then thrash oats__
Griffin about pigs & sundries in morn.., saw down
the beef, help cut up a side, mix food for pigs till
noon , then to Aylmer___ George sundries in
morn.., help cut up & salt beef till dinner, then
at sundries again___
14Sunday. Church A.M. Mr Butler & Tara_Jane rode in
yesterday afternoon & remained over right__
15Monday. James about horses in morn.., help up with both
porches, bunch up cellar window, to Lay's for beef
cattle & bring 3 yearlings down from Woodfield,
Muldoon fodder cattle & at sundries in morn.., to
Rob ts for the beef Cow, then thrash wheat, Tayler
thrash oats in morn.., help home with Cow from Rob ts
& thrash do___ Griffin not here___ George about
pigs, steam tatoes, mix 'em & about sundries___
16Tuesday. James attend horses morn.., noon & night, then
at wood for himself, Muldoon fodder cattle in
morn.., thrash wheat for a start, then to Ottawa by
steamer; Tayler thrash g .. oats, Griffin not back yet_
George about pigs, steam tatoes, mix 'em &
at sundries___ Payne to Ottawa with Con's
young Fanny____ Self very poorly all day__
17Wednesday. James about horses & sundries in morn..,
cart & sleigh down oat & wheat shrew till dinner,
then clean up oats, Muldoon not here, Tayler
thrash oats in morn.., help down with the straw
till dinner, then help clean oats, Griffin came
about 10½ o 'C, had breakfast, then thrash wheat &
feed pigs___ George fodder cattle & feed pigs in
morn.., stow away straw, saw wood & about
sundries____ Self rig up Ox-sleigh, repair
small wheel_barrow & about sundries____
18Thursday. James about horses & sundries in morn..,
draw down oats & a load wheat straw by
12 o 'C, then draw wood for George , Muldoon
thrash wheat, Tayler at home, Griffin about
pigs, steam tatoes, mix 'em & about sundries,
George fodder cattle & at sundries in morn,
help down with oats & straw till 12 o 'C,
then at wood for himself___ Self look
about things till noon , then to Ottawa in
buggy, took little Crawford home____
19Friday. James about horses & sundries in morn..,
mix peas & oats in mill, draw down wheat,
straw, clean up wheat & put it in Mill
Muldoon help down with straw clean up
wheat & help put it in Mill, Tayler at home,
Griffin about pigs, steam tatoes & at sundries,
George fodder cattle, sow wood, Can down
grape times ________ Self got back about 8½ o 'C_
20Saturday. James about horses in morn.., release,
Gristmill wheel, thow gates with hot
water &e till dinner, then in Gristmill,
Muldoon put out Chass, thrash Bl k Sea ,
Tayler put out oat do, then thrash peas,
Griffin about pigs, steam to box-pills,
& mix 'em__ George__ fodder cattle &e,
saw wood & at sundries till dinner, to Berry 's
in boat for beer, saw wood & do up cattle____
Self prepare for grinding till noon , then grind__
