water in even g .. Muldoon thrash Bl k Sea , Tayler
thrash peas, Griffin about pigs, steam tatoes, shift
some tatoes from Cellar to Kitch.. & about sundries__
George about cattle &e, help shift tatoes, saw wood__
23Tuesday. James about horses in morn.., help stow away pea__
_straw, thrash wheat, Muldoon help down
with 2 load pea_straw, then thrash Bl k Sea__
Tayler cart down pea straw, then thrash peas__
George fodder cattle &e, sow wood & about sundries,
Griffin about pigs, steam tatoes & mix 'em, sow
some wood, shovel loose stones up to back of long shed_
make oak stops for fanning mill, file hard wood sow.
24Wednesday. James about horses in morn.., help remove
straw off thrash g ,, floor, clean up wheat & put
it in Mill by 3 o 'C then bring in last of the tatoes ___
Muldoon shift the straw, help clean up wheat
&e, then house last of tatoes, Tayler thrash peas & help
house the tatoes, Griffin ill, killed steer for Payne__
George fodder cattle &e in morn.., sow wood & at
sundries till dinner, help in Gristmill, feed pigs &e_
25Thursday. James about horses in morn.. to Berry's for yeast,
& parells from Ottawa till 10 o 'C, then picking up
his house, Muldoon sow wood in morn.., cart
down a load pea straw & clean up peas by dinner,
then out the line, Tayler thrash peas in morn.., help
down with straw & clean 'em up by dinner, then
measure & draw 'em down, thrash wheat for a start.
Griffin about pigs, steam tatoes mix 'em, &
at sundries, George fodder cattle &e, finish
cut & house corn_ stalks, shave grass round apple trees.
Self iron_bandg.. post of mill dam gate, measureg.. boards
mixg.. wheat ready for grind g .., mix g .. Prov d .. for an

Tayler thrash g .. wheat, Griffin about pigs, steam
tatoes, remove tatoes from cellar to kitchen,
mix pigs food, refill steam_box, George
fodder cattle & e, help remove tatoes, & at sundries.
Self finish iron_band mill dam gate & nail
a strip of oak on the bottom, put up outside windows
of dining room, & about sundries______
Winny Cos_grove began soon after breakfast___
27Saturday. James abour horses in morn.., free water wheel &
thaw sawmill water_ gate, then help grind
till dinner, clean out sawmill & burn rubbish__
Muldoon thrash wheat, shift straw, clean up
Bl k Sea , Tayler the same, put it in mill, then,
draw 1 load slabs &e from Mill & 1 load cedar links
for stove_wood, Griffin about pigs, steam tatoes,
mix 'em, clean out from pigs, sow hard wood &
about sundries, George fodder cattle &e, cover up
vines with pea straw, saw soft wood, bring in
water_____ Self work gristmill till dinner, see to thing.
28Sunday. Church A.M. M rs Greene & Anna to dinner,
Self in house all day with bad head_ach__
29Monday. James about horses in morn, draw 3 load
hard_wood from Barn to old yard, 1 load old
Bl k oak from workshop for cook.. stove, & at sundries
till dinner, then fix 2 slabs & pile home dung against 'em,
Muldoon & Tayler thrash g .. wheat, Griffin about pigs,
steam tatoes, mix 'em, & shift some tatoes from
cellar to Kitch.., George fodder cattle & attend fat cows,
saw hard wood & help shift tatoes for pigs_____

Muldoon & Tayler clean up wheat draw
down 2 load straw, then thrash wheat____

George fodder cattle &e, attend fat cows,
help in Gristmill till about 1 ½ o 'C, then at
sundries, in Do___, clean out calf house & do up
