James work Sawmill, Muldoon about horses & pile plank in morn - , help at fence till near 6 o'C, then saw some bottom bunks, Griffin pile boards in morn - , then help at fence, George fodder cattle &e, kill a roaster & at sundries till dinner, pile boards & do up the things____ Self at sundries in morn - , then lay bottom logs of new fence upper side road, beginning at West rn bound ry __

17 Sunday. Church A.M. Self walked to Benning's before dinner, rode the black to Streets in even g __

18 Monday. James work Sawmill, Muldoon about horses in morn - , & roll some logs to Mill, then at fence, Griffin pile lumber & roll logs to Mill in morn - , then at fence, George fodder cattle &e, & to Rob ts with X-cut in morn - , kill a roaster, carry up wash g water & to Brewery with horse & cart till dinner, then clean out stables & cut bl k currants____ Self point Mill-saw in morn - , measure some boards, help lay bottom logs___

19 Tuesday. James work Sawmill, Muldoon about horses in morn - & help pile lumber, then lay bottom logs of fence, Griffin do do in morn - , then at fence, George fodder cattle &e, finish cut g bl k currants, put earth in boxes for caulie-flowers, pile boards, & at sundries_______ Self about fence______

20 Wednesday. James work Samwill, Muldoon about horses & draw in logs to Mill in morn - , at fence till dinner, then fill gangway with logs, & repair dam, Griffin pile lumber & help in with logs to Mill in morn - , at fence till dinner, help in with more logs, repair dam, do up cattle &e_____ George fodder cattle &e in morn - , went home soon after breakfast on act. of his wife____ Jay paint harrow & wheel-barrow, square up 4 posts, repair chicken crib, prop up broken post of hen-yard_____ Self at sundries in

21 Thursday. James wheel earth to dam in morn - , help at repairs in Sawmill till dinner, saw till about 5½ o'C. dig out leak at stone bridge, saw again, do up horse, Muldoon about horses in morn - , repair g dam till about 10½ o'C, pile lumber till about 5 o'C, then at dam again_____ Griffin repair g dam & pile lumber till near 3 o'C, then began to plough at this end of Woodfeild, & dig out a bed in garden____ Self at sundries in morn - , at repairs in Sawmill till dinner, start oxen to plough, sundries about horses' shoes, file Millsaw, repair dam______________

22 Friday. James work Sawmill till 3 o'C, wheel earth to dam for about two hours, then saw again, Muldoon about horses & file down their shoes in morn - , rig out plough &e, & plough above road till dinner, help with a load hay to Cow-loft, & plough again, Griffin wheel earth to dam in morn - , plough new oxen above road & cart a load hay to Cow-loft, George fodder cattle &e, nail up grape vines, help put away porches, shovel the earth & tramp it on dam_____ Self cut cocks of Poll's fore shoes in morn - , look to the plough g till dinner, take down the Porches, repair a flower stand for caulie-flower boxes__

23 Saturday. James work sawmill till noon, then start d for Aylmer, but Steamer came too late, Muldoon about horses & wheel earth to dam in morn - , draw in logs to Mill, cart a load hay to Cow-loft & grind an ax till dinner, pile lumber, Griffin repair g dam in morn - , help in with logs to Mill, help with hay & axe, wash horse covers & pile lumber__ George fodder cattle &e, in morn - at sundries & saw wood till dinner then help in Gristmill & do up things___ Self rehoop infant's washtub, work Do__, repair bolt of front door____
