5 Sunday. Church P.M. Ham, Mary-Anne, Hamny, infant & the nurse arrived just after dinner round the road for the purpose of Christen g Emily_ Self poorly all day_

6 Monday. James about sundries in morn - , pile lumber & wash sheep till dinner, then clean line for fence above Lake road house, Muldoon & Peter finish slash fence in morn - , at sundries & wash sheep till dinner, then take stumps &e out of line of fence & do some branding &e___ Griffin at Wilson's___ George about house & sundries____ Ham & family left soon after a late breakfast____ Self sundries & look to washing of sheep, notch bunks & went for Mrs Greene in even g ___

7 Tuesday. James hoe round stumps in morn - , help lay bottom logs of fence above lake road house, notch on some bunks & put on 5 logs, Muldoon pick up roots in morn - then at fence, Griffin not here__ Peter hoe round stumps in morn - , pick up roots, bare bottom bunks & sow 2 nd course____ George about house &e, to woods for pea rods, plant some caulie-flowers___ Self sundries in morn - , then at fence_______

8 Wednesday. James at home, Muldoon sundries in morn - , & for a start after breakfast, then at fence, Griffin ill, Peter turn g & snag g cups in morn - , at sundries for a while after breakfast, then help get fence above lake road house 3 logs high_____ George at home till dinner, plant caulie-flowers, saw wood & about house_____ Self at fence____

9 Thursday. James saw in morn - , look after young cattle on the road & saw till dinner, help pick up roots, then stump & brand up, Muldoon & Peter sundries in morn - , finish put on 3 d logs & stop up some of the large places under bottom-logs__ then stump & brand for about 3 hours in even g ____ Griffin wig tatoes in morn - finish pick up roots of wheat in new land about 4 o'C, then help make fence pig-tight___ George about house & at work in garden____ Self at fence_________

10 Friday. James, Muldoon & Peter draw logs to Mill in morn - , then stump & brand up___ Griffin shear 27 sheep____ George about house &e, & do a little work in garden____ Self see to wool_____

11 Saturday. James & Peter stop holes under new fence in morn - , then stump & brand up, Muldoon sundries in
morn - , then do do .. .. , Griffin snag tatoes in morn - , help at do, do till noon then to Aylmer__ George about house & sundries___ Self to Streets with the mare till near dinner time, came home, then went to meet Emerald, dined at Rob ts ___

12 Sunday. Church A.M. drove M rs Greene home in even g ___

13 Monday. James & Muldoon grind axes in morn - , stop holes under new fence till dinner, then clean up new land, Peter snag tatoes in morn - , then same as the rest, Griffin not here, George about house &e in morn - , help in Gristmill for about 2 hours, repair a leak at waste gate, then at sundries___ Self shorten strap of bolt g machine & grind for about 2 hours_____

14 Tuesday. James, Muldoon, Peter stump & brand new land, Griffin came in even g ____ George weed g parsnips, dig up old melon bed & plant caulie-flowers in it____ Self file mill-saw before dinner, drove out Rob t to look at road in even g ______

15 Wednesday. James clean up new land till about 5 o'C, then work Sawmill, Muldoon, Peter stump & brand till 5 o'C. then grind axes, Griffin help at do
George at sundries__ Self started for Wainman's, turned & went 4 th line Huntly___

16 Thursday. James, Muldoon, Griffin at stumps in new land, Peter to Aylmer___ George about house & sundries till dinner, then help in Gristmill__ Self at sundries till do, then grind wheat____
