17 Sunday. Church P.M. Self went about 5 o'C to meet the children at ten mile tavern, had to follow them a little beyond Tom Beaties_____

18 Monday. James finish mow above road in morn:, rake up & help cock in 12 Acre-feild by dinner, then rake up some above road & mow new part in Woodfeild, Muldoon, Peter, Griffin, Payne finish mow about road in morn:, then do do do above road & mow in Woodfeild___ George about house &e, help a little at hay till dinner, then weed g garden_____ Self at hay & repair a long fork-handle__________

19 Tuesday. James, Peter, Griffin mow in morn:, then make hay__ Muldoon, Payne mow in morn:, make & cart hay____ George about house &e, help at hay & drive M rs Greene home in even g ____ Self grind coffee in morn:, repair a fork handle by 10 o'C. then look to hay____

20 Wednesday. James help finish mow in Woodfeild in morn:, rake up & make hay till dinner, then mow in Churchfeild, Muldoon & Payne mow in morn:, then cart hay, Griffin & Peter mow in morn:, then make hay____ George about house &e,_____ Self to Jay's on horse back in morn:, then at hay___

21 Thursday. James, Peter, Griffin finish mow Churchfeild about 3 o'C. then mow in 16 Acrefeild, Muldoon & Payne mow in Churchfeild till dinner, then cart hay till 5 o'C, then mow____ George about house &e, make hay & at sundries_____ Self repair a pitch fork handle in morn; make a new one by dinner, then at hay, repair ox-cart in even g ______

22 Friday. James, Peter mow till 11 o'C, at hay till dinner, mow again, Muldoon & Payne mow & at hay till dinner, then at wood for George ______ Griffin mow & at hay till dinner, finish quarry short drain at W st side creek, mow again, Fred rig up scythe in morn; then mow & at hay___ George about house &e___ Self to Streets & Berry's till dinner, handle sledge____

23 Saturday. James at hay & clean up new land till noon, then to Aylmer for the Docter, Muldoon, Payne at hay & clean up new land till dinner, then cart hay, Griffin clean out stables in morn: at hay & sundries till dinner, then at hay, Peter at do & new land do _ _ do, then at do___ Fred mow in morn: at hay & new land till dinner, then at hay again____ George about house &e_ help at do after dinner___ Self X-cut for gate at Muldoon's house before dinner, then look to the hay_____

25 Monday. James at home, Muldoon & Payne make hay till 10½ o'C, then draw in, Griffin at hay & mow a start in even g , Peter help cock hay till about 9 o'C, rake with horse till about 6 o'C, then cock up & mow for a start, Fred about hay____ George about house &e, help make hay______

26 Tuesday. James, Muldoon, Peter mow in 16 Acre-feild, Griffin & Payne at sundries in morn:, then mow_____ George about house & at sundries___ Self to Ottawa in buggy___

27 Wednesday. James, Muldoon, Griffin , Peter, Payne finish mow in morn:, clean up new land till dinner, then dry hay in Churchfeild & cart it in___ George about house & at work in garden____ Self returned before dark___
