2 Saturday. James, Muldoon, Peter at new creek, Griffin quarry new creek____
George about house &e, at work in garden___

3 Sunday. Self returned last even g at dusk____

4 Monday. James at new creek, Muldoon at his church till noon, came home by Wilson 's to hunt after the calves, Griffin quarry creek. Peter dig new creek_______ George about house &e, at work in garden______
Self to Bells corners after a girl, followed her to within two miles of Ottawa________

5 Tuesday. James at new creek till dinner, to Jay's with tatoes at do again, Muldoon, Peter dig new creek, Griffin at creek in morn:, mow garden, pull mustard out of oats, help hoe corn & at creek again____
George about house &e, hoe corn & at sundries. Self to Wainman's after noon, took Rob t out the line__

6 Wednesday. James sundries in morn:, then to Huntly with Horse:cart for lime, Muldoon & Peter at new creek, Griffin quarry new creek____
George about house &e, help sweep Kitchen chimney, & at sundries____ Self look about & to brewery_____

7 Thursday. James fork dung out of shed in morn:, then stump g flat by new creek, Muldoon & Peter to Berry 's for big stag in morn:, then clearing up the flat by side of new creek, Griffin quarry g new creek_____ George about house &e______ Self look about till dinner, then fix iron T. on big stag & put new handle in best claw hammet______

8 Friday. James mould tatoes with plough, Muldoon, Peter fork dung out of shed & carry grass from drains up to top of garden, Griffin quarry little drain at wood-side of new land____ George about house &e in morn:, then mould tatoes___ help Muldoon & Peter carry garden hay to calf-loft in afternoon______ Self to Read's about bull after breakfast, little else____

9 Saturday. James mould tatoes till noon, then to Aylmer , Muldoon, Peter hoe tatoes till noon, mow tops off thistles through wheat & fork dung out of sheds, Griffin hoe tatoes till noon, quarry drain by woods___

10 Sunday. Church A.M. Self left Ottawa soon after Hams
sun-rise, got to M r Butler's in time for their breakfast_____ brought up John's lad for Jessy_____

11 Monday. James plough tatoes till dinner, then clean up new land, Muldoon, Peter, hoe tatoes till dinner, then at new land, Griffin do _ do , then quarry short drain next woods in new clearance____ George at sundries in morn: then at his tatoes
Self to Ottawa & back about 10½ o'C_____

12 Tuesday. James , Peter & George at the walk______

Griffin sundries inmorn: then to Aylmer__
Self about till dinner, to Benning's
on horse-back seeing George Major, then to Rob ts ___

13 Wednesday. James & Peter at home, Griffin not here_

14 Thursday. James & Peter grind scythes in morn:, then mow in 12 Acre-feild, Muldoon at his tatoes till noon, then mow, Griffin not here, Payne about sundries till dinner, then grind scythe &
