cart harness & 2 tubs for hams & at sundries___

Self at sundries till dinner, then to brewery & up to Armitage's_

5Saturday. James about horses in morn.., harness horses &e

till near 10 o 'C, then draw down 1 load straw,

& 2 load hay to Cow_loft_ & at sundries, Muldoon

saw wood in morn.., measure up some wheat &

load it in sleigh till near 10 o 'C, then help with

straw, hay & at sundries, Griffin thrash wheat__

George about cattle &e, help with straw &e,

saw wood____ Self & Arab.. to Ottawa in

double sleigh by Berry 's road_____

6Sunday. Church A.M. Self got home about 2 o 'C to dinner,

via land road, Mary with me; Arab.. remained__

7Monday. James about horses & draw water from river

in morn.., weigh up flour, finish about

cattle pigs & to brewery till dinner, then at sundries

& saw wood, Muldoon draw down a load

straw & help fodder cattle in morn.., clean up

wheat till dinner, measure & put it in mill,

draw down a load straw, then drew 2 load

soft wood from old yard, Griffin help with

straw & fodder cattle in morn.., help clean up

&e the wheat, help with 2 nd load straw, saw hard_

_wood, do up cattle &e_ George at home, ill__

Self refit handle in Prou axe, file hard_wood &

saw, & nearly finish file meat_saw____

8Tuesday. james about horses in morn.., finish about

cattle&e, saw wood & about sundries,

Muldoon fodder cattle &e in morn.., then help Peter

X-cut wood, Griffin thrash wheat, help take

yoke off boar & help do up things in even g ..___

George ill___ Self look about & file soft_wood

saw by dinner, take yoke off board saw his finish,

took Rate to Rob ts in cutter, then at sundries____

till about 11 o 'C_, then oil cart harness again,

& oil plough harness, Muldoon to Aylmer___

Self to Ottawa in cutter via Merrie-field___

10Thursday. James about horses in morn.., draw 2 load

of soft wood that Peter cut last winter, then

draw soft_wood over from old yard, Muldoon

to the Interior, Griffin thrash wheat, George,

about cattle &e, saw wood &

Self stopped over_night_, got back this even g .. at dusk_

11Friday. James about horses in

morn, clean up wheat

till dinner, then help load sleigh &

harness horses, measure up & stow

away wheat, draw a load straw to cow loft_

Muldoon out back, Griffin

thrash wheat in morn.., help clean

up wheat till dinner, help load double sleigh,

then measure up & put wheat in mill, help with straw_

George about cattle &e, saw wood & at sundries_

Self at sundries till dinner, then prepare

& off to Ottawa with double sleigh a-X the ice__

12Saturday. James about horses in morn.., take Mary

to Robts.. in cutter, draw in soft_wood

& go for Mary in eveng.. Muldoon not here__

Griffin ill, no work, George about

cattle &e, saw wood & at sundries___

Self returned a little after dark;

brought home Constance & Arab..___
