7 Wednesday. James mow till 10 o'C, make hay till 5 o'C, then mow again, Muldoon & Peter mow till 10 o'C, turn hay for an hour, then draw in, Griffin help unload hay & mow till 10 o'C, then at hay, George about house & garden till 10 o'C, then at hay__

8 Thursday. James mow till dinner, rake with horse for an hour in Churchfeild, then mow in Creekfeild N o side__ Muldoon & Peter mow till 4 o'C, then cart hay, Griffin at Rob ts __ Tom Baskin here in his place mow till dinner, at hay for an hour, then mow in Creekfeild__ George at sundries in garden & help at hay for 2 or 3 hours in even g _

9 Friday. James at sundries in morn:, mow till noon, rake with horse & at hay till 5 o'C, mow again, Muldoon & Peter mow till dinner, then cart hay, Griffin at Rob ts ____ Tom Baskin here in his place, mow till noon, then at hay, George kill the last roaster off the young Sow, & at sundries till noon, then at hay____ Self doctering Major's foot in morn:, measure lumber, help at hay_____

10 Saturday. James mow & at hay till dinner, then work sawmill__ Muldoon & Peter mow, make & cart hay, pile boards___ Griffin mow, help at hay & at sundries on act: of rain__ George at sundries about house & garden, wash the buggy_ Self at sundries in morn:, to the forge till 3 o'C with Spring.

11 Sunday. Church P.M.

12 Monday. James at home with hurt back, Muldoon make hay till 11 o'C, then cart it in, Peter & Griffin finish dig up stones in Old Pigfeild in morn:, then at hay___ George at sundries in morn:, help at hay till 5 o'C, at sundries again_

13 Tuesday. James to Aylmer about his back, Muldoon & Peter put away horse-rake &e in morn:, then cart stones off fallow in Creekfeild, Griffin ill in morn:, went to Aylmer , George sundries in garden & about house__ Self to the forge in afternoon with Poll for 4 removes__

14 Wednesday. James no work till do__, then harrow & began to plough fallow in Creekfeild, Muldoon & Peter cart stones out of Old Pigfeild S o side__ Griffin back by the boat, did not work__
George weeding in garden & at sundries about house____ Self to Ottawa & the X___

 

 

 

 

15 Thursday. James plough Creekfeild fallow____ Muldoon & Peter grind axes & at stumps in Woodfeild, Griffin ill__ George weed g garden & at sundries____ Self returned about 8 o'C in even g ___

16 Friday. James finish plough fallow in Creekfeild at noon, then harrow do__ in Pigfeild___ Muldoon & Peter at stumps in Woodfeild__ Griffin ill, went home___ George sundries in garden & about house_____ Self up to Payne's on horse-back before breakfast, then to Aylmer from own landing in Rob ts boat,____

17 Saturday. James at sundries in morn:, plough in Old Pigfeild, Muldoon & Peter at stumps in Woodfeild, Griffin in Aylmer__ George at sundries in garden & about house__ Collins finish loft in cow-shed, put a latch on the door, paint Old Kitchen door &e____

18 Sunday. Church A.M. Charley came George
up by the Steamer yesterday morn g ____
