Griffin sundries in morn:, help remove the pea-straw, thrash oats, George about cattle, pigs &e, boil oats, saw soft-wood____ Cook finish water-wheel about 11 o'C, then off___ Self in cutter to Berry's, John Street's & M rs Bridges after German ox, then out to Moran's, got back before noon; get ready for grinding; grind afternoon____

28 Thursday. James about horses in morn:, help in Gristmill till dinner, then at sundries, Muldoon about horses in morn:, then at road, Peter saw wood in morn:, then at road, Grififn thrash oats in morn:, then about cattle pigs &e, Moran arrived with the ox about 3 o'C, then thrash oats, George about cattle pigs &e in morn: went home with hurt leg___ Self work Gristmill till dinner, then at sundries & to Berry's in Cutter.

29 Friday. James & Muldoon about horses in morn:, then at road, Peter saw wood in morn: then at road, Griffin at sundries in morn:, thrash wheat, Moran saw wood in morn:, thrash oats, George about cattle pigs &e, boil oats, help in Grismtill for about 1½ hours in afternoon___ Self about sundries till dinner, then work Gristmill for about 2 hours__ Biddy returned by the boat, bud did not reach here till afternoon.

30 Saturday.
