9.Friday. James saw in morn.., burn tatoe tops, fill up a
stump hole & bring home the oxen from Woodfield,
then saw again, Muldoon about horses in morn..,
finish harrow & roll peas, then harrow 1½ hours to help
Peter finish his piece, Peter about horses in morn..,
harrow in wheat in tatoe land, Griffin sundries in morn..,
saw wheat till dinner, then plough in Woodfield___
George about cattle &e, about sundries in garden__
Self look about till noon, then at sundry repairs_
10Saturday. James saw in morn.. repair 4 pannels of side_line
fence back of his house, help in Gristmill till dinner,
saw again, Muldoon & Peter about horses in morn..,
plough in Old Pigfield So side, help in with some
logs to mill at noon, Griffin saw wood in morn..,
plough in Woodfield till near noon, then about
sundry jobs, George about cattle &e, do some work in
garden, help ring & cut little pigs____ Self grind g ..

11Sunday. Church A.M.
12Monday. James saw & pile boards till dinner, help get the
big stone out of 12 Acre_field & the 2 out of Wood_
field, then fill hole in do_do, Muldoon about
horses in morn.., harrow land for wheat in
Woodfield, then harrow in the wheat by 4½ o 'C, then help
plough for peas in 16 Acre_field, Peter about horses
in morn.., finish plough for wheat in Old Pigfield
by about 10 o 'C, then do_ for peas in 16 Acrefield__
Griffin sundries in morn.., sow wheat till 11 o 'C,
cart a load hay to Cow_loft by dinner, draw the
big stones out of 12 Acrefield & Woodfield, then pick
up roots, George about cattle &e, sow parsnips &
at sundries in garden____ Self at sundries___
13Tuesday. James saw till near 5 o 'C, then cut tatoes,
Muldoon about horses in morn.., plough for peas
till 11 o 'C, then plough in Creekfield N o side, Peter
about horses in morn.., plough for peas till 11 o 'C,
then harrow 'em in & began to plough for tatoes
in even g .., Griffin help repair gran.. field fence in
morn.., pick up roots in Woodfield & sow peas
till dinner, then cut tatoes, George about cattle &e,
plant some more tatoes in garden & do some digging_
Self to Payne's to look at a heifer, then at sundries__
14Wednesday. James saw till about 10 o 'C, cut tatoes till dinner,
then plough in Creekfield, Muldoon about horses
in morn.., harrow in wheat in Old Pigfield & plough for
an hour in Creekfield, then out back, Peter about horses
in morn.., plough for tatoes, Griffin at sundries in
morn.., sow wheat till 10½ o 'C, cut tatoes & seed down
S o side Old Pigfield; George about cattle &e at sundries
in garden,____
15Thursday. James saw in morn.., finish plough N o .. side
Creekfield, harrow grass_seed S o side Old Pigfield,
& cut tatoes till dinner, saw again till about 5 o 'C,
then do_ do_; Muldoon came after dinner, harrow
wheat No side Creekfield & cut some tatoes,
Peter about horses in morn.. plough for do___,
Griffin do_ do_ _ do, cut tatoes, sow wheat,
& up lake_road to see if wood was safe from
fire; George about cows &e; plant some more tatoes
in garden, then cut tatoes____ Self to M r .. Reads
before dinner, see to things & to John Streets on foot in even g .._

help in with logs to mill, saw & help with colt,
