in morn.., plough till dinner, grind my axe, shift

seed cups to old cellar, Peter about horses in morn.., help

with hay & oat_straw to cow_loft, & a small load hay off gran..

_loft to Horses, help grind axe & help with tatoes, Griffin

sift_peas in morn.., draw logs to mill, cart down hay &

straw till noon, sift_peas again, George about cattle &e,

dig up one basket pull of parsnips, all the rest rotten_

Moran at big stone in 12 Acre_field till dinner, then

put a hole 2 inches deeper in a portion of it & 5 inch hole

in a portion of one of the stones in Woodfield for ½ lb tobacco_

Self blast g .. stones & about sundries____

2Friday. James saw g .., Muldoon about horses in morn..,

out the line on his own business till 22½ o 'C, took Major

to the forge for 4 removes; then draw wood for George __

Peter about horses in morn.., remove the snows to

Old cellar, wheel some manure into garden & at

sundry jobs, Griffin saw wood in morn.., wash

4 horse covers, wheel some dung into garden, spread & dig

it in, help x-cut some chop g .. block & about sundries___

George about cattle &e, help pick & remove the snows;

do some work in garden____ Self repair foal's

halter, set & file small x-cut & about sundries___

3Saturday. James sawing, Muldoon about horses in

morn.., pile plough, Peter about horses in morn..,

help pile rough_edge & at sundries till dinner, help with

logs to mill & help pile the 4 pine stumps in Wood_

_field, Griffin dig in garden in morn.., plough

garden by noon & at sundries till dinner, then

draw logs to mill, & draw away the 4 pine

stumps in Woodfield, George about cattle &e,

help rig up new cook g .. stove & do some work in

garden____ Self drive oxen for a start in

do_ & rig up cook g .. stove by 11½ o 'C, look to work

Spring, came back, sawed wood, Peter about

help pick up roots & stones in Woodfield, Griffin

about sundries in morn.. dig in garden till

dinner, then cart roots & stones in Woodfield__

returned immediately because he had no nails___

6Tuesday. James sawing, Muldoon about horses in morn..,

plough for wheat in Woodfield, Peter do_ do_ do,

then to the Fair, Griffin saw wood in morn..,

cart the Dublin plough to Wood_field, dig up

some stones in 16 Acre_field, then root up 2 plumb

trees & wild vine in garden till dinner, then plough

in Woodfield, George about cattle &e, do some

diging in garden__ Self ill all day in house__

7Wednesday. James sawing, Muldoon about horses in

morn.. plough for wheat in Woodfield, Peter

about horses in morn.., heap up tatoe stalks & fill

up one stump_hole in Woodfield by dinner, then

to the forge with Spring to get the shoe on that

he tore off on Monday; Griffin sundries in morn..,

plough in Woodfield, George about cattle &e,

do some diging in garden____ Self to the forge

for 4 removes on Doll till dinne, file soft_wood saw_

8Thursday. James sawing till 4 o 'C, help in Gristmill till 6½ o 'C, then

saw again, Muldoon about horses in morn.., plough for

wheat in Woodfield for about an hour, harrow land for peas, then

harrow in peas, Peter about horses in morn.., help in with logs to

mill for an hour, rig out 2 nd teem & plough tatoe land for wheat_

Griffin saw wood in morn.., draw logs to mill, cart harrow to

field & plough in Woodfield till dinner, then saw_peas___

George about cattle &e, dig in garden till dinner, help change

coal g .. stoves, saw 6 rows of peas, plant a few tatoes_____

Self at sundries till dinner, shift cook g .. stoves, grease

Gristmill & grind prov d .. for about 1½ hours & at sundries__
