25 Saturday. James work sawmill; Muldoon about

&e, & began to plough grass-land in 16 Acrefeild

wood in morn:, help with logs to mill; pile lumber
for a while, George about cattle &e, take away
leech barrel, kill a roaster______ Self drive horses
to open a few ridges, at repairs about wheel of
barrow, at repairs in sawmill & about sundries____

27 Monday. James work sawmill & help at repairs for a while__ Muldoon about horses in morn:, plough grass-land, Toolie about horses in morn:, at sundries till
9 o'C, then chop soft-wood; griffin butcherg
a calf for James till 8 o'C, exploring for a
drain at So end of Woodfeild for an hour,
then hunt up oxen & plough front garden
by 4½ o'C, then dig some of it; George about
cattle &e, do some diging in garden & at sundries___

Self at next to nothing till 4½ o'C, then at repairs in sawmill
