7 Tuesday. James hoe men's tatoes in morn:, harrow the fallow & put Griffin a-X the water; Muldoon & Toolie finish hoe men's tatoes soon after breakfast, then weed carrots, Griffin at tatoes in morn: mow garden by noon then off home; George about cows &e & weed do__

8 Wednesday. James, Muldoon, Toolie weed carrots, pull wild mustard & repair the fences blown down by the storm; Griffin not here; George about cows &e, weed garden & patch the fence__ Self at sundries till 9 o'C, to the forge & back to 4½ o'C dinner. Spring

9 Thursday. James weed carrots in morn: then to Aylmer_ Muldoon & Toolie finish weed carrots soon
after breakfast, then grind axes & chop in
new clearing; Griffin not here; George about

10 Friday. James, Muldoon, Toolie at loging till 6½ o'C, then house garden hay; Griffin not here; George

11 Saturday. James log in morn: then catch horses & plough; Muldoon, Toolie & Payne at loging___
