Self to the Forge for the 2 iron ploughs__ 12/6 for

12Tuesday. James run a few cuts in morn.., pile repairs__

some boards & help at repairs till about 4 o 'C,

then saw again; Muldoon & Tooly about horses,

finish thrash oats, clean 'em up & measure

some; Griffin off to bring his cows home___

George about cattle &e____ Self at repairs lt r .. to H.T.R.

about water_gate of gig_wheel; Muldoon & Tooly

13Wednesday. James work sawmill; Muldoon & Tooly

about horses in morn.., draw down the oats,

Measure up a few bush.. tatoes & harness horses for self,

draw 1 load hay to Horse_loft; draw down a load

beding straw, draw logs to mill, then draw

1 load oat straw to cow_loft; Griffin not here;

George about cattle &e_____ Self stow away oats,

take tatoes to Rob t .. & bring back peas by dinner, then about sundries___

14Thursday. James work sawmill; Muldoon & Tooly about

horses in morn.. take shoes off some of the horses,

draw down a load beding straw (the loft), put up

fences on wniter road, grind axes & about sundries

Griffin not here; George about cattle &e___

Self help take shoes off horses, sathe up accounts with Hamnett

Edwards; put a cog in gig_wheel, rodd to Street's___

15Friday. James work sawmill;

draw in logs to mill, draw down oats & pea_straw;

Griffin not here; George about cattle &e____

Self not well, poke about till noon , new handle the axe

I got temperd, file pig rings & about sundries___

Griffin returned in even g .. George about cattle &e__

Self repair g .. pump & to T. Read's doctor g .. a cow__

in morn.., fall &s boom timber; Griffin saw

wood in morn.., at sundries for a while, then pile

lumber; George about cattle &e, saw wood, empty

barrel & refill it; Collins line & side boomtimber_

19Tuesday. James help repair sawmill in morn.. then saw

Muldoon & Tooly about horses in morn.., fall

&s boom timber; Griffin pile lumber in

morn.., to the woods twice to chop soft_wood & had

to return, the axe was too soft; he turned the

grind stone, piled more lumber & about sundries

George about cattle &e____ Collings side timber__

Self at repairs about sawmill in morn.., grind

a lot of tools, new handle 2 knives & at sundries___

20Wednesday. James work sawmill & about sundries

for 1 ½ hours; Muldoon & Tooly about horses

in morn.., help ring year old pigs, draw a few

logs into mill, lay up boom timber & bring

pieces home; Griffin saw wood in morn..,

help ring pigs, farm grindstone for a while,

then chop hardwood; George about cattle &e,

Collins making steps for further place & a stand

for a barrel_____ Self look about till 10 o 'C, file & set

millsaw in less than 2 hours, then about sundries____

21Thursday. James work sawmill; Muldoon about

horses in morn.., draw a few logs to mill,

draw home boom timber; Tooly about horses in

morn.., chop hardwood; Griffin up lit wood

in morn.., help in with logs to mill, then chop

hardwood; George about cart &e, wash the buggy,

saw wood & about sundries; Collins finish the

barrel stand & the st , repair part of floor

in old cellar, side sleepers for Old Pea_cook house

& about sundries______ Self help in with logs

to mill & at do_ till dinner, then g at the barrel

of coal_oil into cellar & about sundries____
