Tooly the same & saw some wood; Tom ill; Griffin

went home; George about cattle &e, boil a pot bad

tatoes, saw & split wood___ Self to Aylmer in

cutter, got back to a late dinner, then exercise Duke & Liz

roll_way & cit out a piece more road; Tooly saw

wood in morn.., help at roll_way & do_; Griffin

at home; George about cattle &e, bring up water

for wating, saw wood___Self to Ottawa in cutter__

14Tuesday. James & Tom about horses in morn.., lay up 18 logs;

Tooly saw wood in morn.., cut roads &e;

Griffin back in even g .., George about cattle &e,

saw & split wood___ Self about sundries__

15Wednesday. James about horses in morn.., Griffin ½ lb tea.

rig out the bobs, shovel road & ½ …sugar

into sawmill_yard, drawing 6 logs; Tom ½ lb tea_

Tom about horses in morn.., lay up 16 logs;

Tooly saw wood in morn.., help lay up;

Griffin thrash oats; George about cattle &e,

saw & split wood___Self to O'Neil's P.M. for oats___

Tom about do_ do_ do_, fall & x-cut logs;

Tooley grind axe in morn.., do _ do_ do_ do;

Griffin about cattle &e, saw & split wood;

George ill; ____ Self to Rob ts .. & Smith's till noon,

then repair a pig_trough & drive out with Duke.

Tom about horses in morn.., lay up 14 logs; Tooly grind

ax in morn.., cut roads; Griffin turn grind stone in

morn.., thrash oats; George about cattle &e_____

Self to Aylmer in double sleigh till 1½ o 'C, dinner, then

take Kate, for a drive, file hard_wood saw____

then Self took Kate & some of the children in

double sleigh to Berry 's & Street's______

Self & John Street to Torbolton as far as Pat Lynch's

load the sleigh, then chop hardwood; Tooley at home;
