28 Thursday. James at Show-Fair in waggon;
Tom & Jackson at sundries in morn:,
chop & draw in dry pine; Tooley at home;
Griffin at Show-Fair; George at sundries
in morn:, then at do;_____ Self at Show-Fair__

29 Friday. James scrape up & help load manure;
Tooley at home; Tom & Jackson cart dung;
Griffin at sundries in morn:, thrash wheat;
George take out some tatoes & boil ‘em for
pigs, saw wood, churn & about sundries__
Self poke about till 10 o'C, then to Luton &
Berry's till noon, then out back, Horace with me__

30 Saturday. James clean out sheep-house & help cart
till about 4 o'C, then help clean & measure up
wheat; Tooley at home; Tom & Jackson cart dung
& help shake 3 carpets; Griffin thrash wheat &
help at carpets till dinner, then clean & measure up; George about house & saw wood, shake carpets &e__

1 Sunday. Church P.M.

2 Monday. Jams scrape up & help load dung till
dinner, then take wheat to O'Hara's in
horse-cart; Tom cart dung with horse-cart
till dinner, with oxen till near 5 o'C, then clean up
harness & about sundries, Jackson cart g dung;
Tooley at home; Griffin ill; George about
cows &e, take out tatoes & boil ‘em for pigs &
at sundries till about 3 o'C, then with old
oxen to W m Monks____ Self to Berry's
on foot in morn:, out back in buggy till
dinner, then at sundries

3 Tuesday. James to County Show-Fair with waggon; Tooley at home; Tom & Jackson at sundries
till near 9 o'C, then cart stones out of Creek-
-feild onto road; Griffin ill; George at
Show-Fair with the oxen____

4 Wednesday. James X-cut dry pine in morn:,
thrash wheat & about sundries;
Tom X-cut dry pine in morn:, cart sand
from garden gate to corner of Big log barn
till dinner, then draw for George from river;
Jackson finish cart dung; Tooley scrape
up manure till near 10 o'C, then thrash oats;
Griffin about house, boil 2 pots of tatoes &
about sundries; George at home with sore foot__ Self at do_, till near 4 o'C, to Berry's & Rob ts in buggy_

5 Thursday. James thrash wheat in morn:, take old
oxen to Berry's & bring back the new ones,
then to the woods till 2 o'C dinner, thrash again;
Tom at straw-berry bed, house corn & stalks;
Tooley thrash g oats; Jackson split g wood in
morn:, help at corn & stalks, then at sundries;
Griffin about house in morn:, to the woods for
basket rods till dinner, then at sundries;
George at home with sore feet__

6 Friday. James thrash wheat in morn:, clean & measure
up oats till noon, at wheat again; Tom cart
a load oat-straw in morn:, brand g up stump-heaps, shake carpets; Tooley help with straw in morn:,
clean up oats, shake carpets, thrash peas, Jackson
cart sand from green gate in morn:, brand up the stump-heaps & about sundries; Griffin about house in morn:, at do_ do_, help at carpets, gather apples, George at home_____
