16 Saturday. James & Griffin to Bessborough with a cow, clean up the head-drain;, finish bind & stuke oats;

Griffin fill g up drain till 11½ o'C, then off home;
Jackson do_ do in morn:, then cart earth

& even g took the rest of the day to himself___

20 Wednesday. James fill up old drain, cut part of brush
along Creek & about sundries; Tooley at home;

Self see to things till 9½ o'C, to Bradley's in waggon.

21 Thursday. James dig out stumps in morn:, cart
earth from edge of drain; Tooley at home;
Tom & Jackson cart stones off new land;
Griffin at home; George about house & sundries
till 3 o'C, then prepare strawberry bed for some
mould, by wheeling away some of the under sand_
Self poke about & to Rob ts till dinner, then take broken handle out of new spade & begin to make a new handle__

22 Friday. James dig up big stones, help load ‘em & fill
up the holes again; Tom cart & draw on crotch
stones off new land; Jackson help at stones;
Tooley at home; Griffin at home; George about
house, wheel some of the sand out of strawberry
bed & replace with mould___ Self at spade handle_

23 Saturday. James root up stumps, brand up stump-holes
on both sides of Creek & dig out stones in Wt corner;
Tom cart a load wool from river for George in morn:,
then draw & cart stump-pile together & cart stones;
Tooley at home; Jackson help at stumps & stones;
Griffin at home; George at straw-berry bed
& about sundries_____ Self at sundries in morn:,
put a handle to the 4 prong fork by dinner, then
too unwell to do anything__ Con & H.P.H. up by Boat_
