1Friday. James & Tom x-cut dry pine in morn.., then cut
sawlog road; Tooly about horses in morn.., at the road;
Jackson at sundries in morn.., draw down peas & the
wheat & at do_till dinner, help in Gristmill & at
sundries again; George about cows, pigs &e, boil
water & at peas in, churn & about sundries_
Collins make a board to clear up lattice work in
horse_loft, repair a little clothes horse, put a new
rave on porch of the bobs & nail 2 slips on horse_
_stable door_____ Self stow away peas & wheat, mix
same prov d .., freeing water gate of sawmill & at
sundries in both mills prepare g .. to grind till
11 o 'C, get out the bobs & supply Collins with oak till
noon , work Gristmill & about sundries____
2Saturday. James split dry pine junks in morn.., then
at sawlog road; Tom do_ in morn.., to
Rob ts .. with the other sow till 11 o 'C, draw down 3 load
wheat dtraw & about sundries; Tooly about horses in
morn.., then at road; Jackson saw wood in morn..,
then at road; Griffin attend cattle in morn..,
sundries till 11 o 'C, help with straw & about
do_ again; George about pigs &e, steam tatoes__
Collins at sundries & put new bars in cedar ladder
by noon , then off home_____ Self about sundries___
3Sunday. Church A.M. Self to Rob ts .. on foot after dinner___
Ellen went home after breakfast____
4Monday. James at home; Tom about horses in morn.., then
thrash oats; Tooly at home; Griffin about cattle &
pigs before breakfast & for a start after, then
thrash wheat, Jackson saw wood in morn..,
cut turnips & attend beef cattle, pigs & about sundries
George out the line____ Self riveling nose pieces
on the bobs, measure lumber & about sundries____
5Tuesday. James at home; Tom about horses in morn.., then
fall & x-cut sawlogs; Tooly at home; Jackson
x-cut dry pine in morn.., then help at sawlogs;
Griffin do_do_ .. do_, thrash wheat till noon
help carry water from river, put more earth
on turnip put, thrash again; George about
cattle, pigs &e, cut turnips & about sundries____
Self at sundries & to Berry 's in buggy till dinner,
then about sundries again & help stable horses____
6Wednesday. James at home; Tom about horses in morn..,
split & repile cordwood in woods; Tooly
at home; Jackson help carry tatoes from
cellar for pigs & help about horses in morn..,
then help at cardwood; Griffin carry in
tatoes for pigs in morn.., then thrash wheat
George about cattle, pigs &e, steam tatoes & cut
turnips____ Self repair g .. floor &e of colts
stable, put 2 panes in kitchen windows & at sundries____
7Thursday. James at home; Tom about horses in morn..,
thrash oats till noon , clean & measure up oats
& saw wood; Tooly at home; Jackson help
about horses in morn.., saw wood till noon ,
help clean up oats & about sundries; Griffin at
sundries in morn.., thrash wheat till near
2 o 'C, help in Gristmill, do_again; George about
cattle, pigs &e______ Self about sundries & grind a start in afternoon__
8Friday. James at home; Tom about horses in morn.., then help

clean up wheat till noon , measure up & draw it
down, draw down a load oat_straw x-cut dry pine;
Jackson about horses morn.., & even g .. help with wheat
& straw & x-cut dry pine; George about cattle, pigs &e, cut some turnips,
& spent a good asfile churning _____ Self fixing
stove_pipes, help stow away straw & at sundry jobs____
