at sundries for a start, then draw in a trip of wood

for Jacksons then about sundries; Tooly at home,

Griffin help about horses & saw wood in morn..,

sort sheep & kill 2 by noon , saw & split wood;

George about cattle, pigs &e, cut turnips, boil a

pot of turnips for pigs & about sundries_____

 

10Sunday. Church P.M.

 

11Monday. James not here; Tom & Tooly about horses

in morn.., carry up water for washing, grind

axe, then lay up 13 saw logs; Griffin cut turnips

in morn.., thrash peas; George about cattle, pigs

&e, saw & split wood, boil water to soak peas_____

Self look about things till noon , file a buck_saw & at sundries__

12Tuesday. James not here; Tom about horses in morn..,

draw down a load pea_straw & a load wheat

_straw, paint foal stable & part of cow_house,

saw wood, do up horses; Tooly help about horses

in morn.., help down with the straw, then home ill;

Griffin cut turnips in morn.., thrash peas;

George about cattle, pigs &e, back & mix last of

pigs tatoes, help stow away wheat_straw, pile

wool off two skins & about sundries______

Self help stow away pea_straw, sharpen lamp trimers___

13Wednesday. James not here; Tom about horses

in morn.., clean up &e peas till about

10 o 'C, then x-cut & split dry pine; Tooly

at home; Griffin at sundries in morn..,

clean & medicine up peas by about 10 o 'C,

then thrash peas; George about cattle, pigs,

&e, help x-cut dry pine, boil water to soak

peas & at sundries______ Self about sundries__

help butcher the stear till dinner, at

sundries for a start, then at Berry 's with

a sow; Tooly at home; Griffin cut tur_

butcher sheer by 1 o 'C, dinner cut up the

head & saw down beef; Jackson help

with steer till dinner, then off; George

about cattle, pigs &e, boil then off; George

peas, split wood & about sundries_______

Self see too butcher g …steer, put 2 hooks on a

feeding tub, help catch the sow & about sundries___

16Saturday. James not hens, Tom about horses in morn..,

wash 2 pork bl s .., salt beef, saw & split

wood; Tooly at home; Griffin help weigh &

cut up the beef & at sundries till dinner,

thrash peas; George about cattle, pigs &e, boil a

pot turnips, soak peas, split wood & about

sundries,_____ Self cut up & stow away beef

the dinner, put a hoop on a ham_tub &

repair one lid, then up Town as for as Neilly's___

17Sunday. Church A.M. Self to Edwards on

foot got back to 1½ o 'C, dinner, took

a sleep, then in cutter as far as Rob ts .. barn_____
