28Thursday. James about horses in morn.., help weigh,

take out lard &e, & salt the pork;

Tom about horses in morn.., x-cut dry prime

& about sundries, Tooley at sundries in morn..,

help x-cut dry pine & split some; Griffin

saw down & cut up pork; George about

cattle &e, wash 5 b ls.. & stubs & about sundries___

29Friday. James about horse in morn.., take cutter

harness to stable, varnish wagon harness,

saw wood & a burst sundries; Tom about

horses in morn.., shim grindstone for a start;
