got 1 load home by dinner, then drew some out

of weeds, 4 1 load home, John about house &

thrash wheat _______ Self at Paynes about measure

weed till dinner, then finish an ax handle ____

20 Thursday - James about horses in morn.., then draw cord _ wood

into Payne's clearance, 1 load home at dinner & 1 at

night, then do up all the things, John at home, sore feet_

Self fodder cattle &e in the morn..then ill all day__

21 Friday . James about horses in morn.. then draw cord_wood

into Payne's clearance & draw home 2 load, John

at home with some feet____ Self fodder cattle in morn..

then draw in 3 load Father's weed by dinner, then one

Load ^in after-noon, take M rs Greene home, help do up the things __

22 Saturday . James about horses in morn.., draw cord_wood into

Payne's clearance & draw home load, John about

Cattle &e, steam tatoes, clean up wheat, saw wood ___

Self to Ottawa , Ham, John & Miss Baker up ___

23 Sunday . Self took Kate & children to Streets and Rob ts John 5lb s .. pork

before dinner, then made a new track across

the ice above the bushes, Ham &e went back __

24 Monday . James about horses, draw in 3 load green hardwood, &

1 load of dry, John about cattle &3e, thrash oats ___

Self to S tm mill & on to Ottawa , ________

25 Tuesday . James about horses in morn.., draw in 2 load dry

hard wood, &2 load of Father's green to repay Self,

John about cattle & sundries, thrash oats ____

Self to Aylmer mill for flour got back about 2o'C.

had dinner, then about sundries, file Mae's hard wood saw__

26 Wednesday . James about horses in morn.., then at wood for

himself, John about cattle &e in morn.. then

at wood for himself, Griffin thrash wheat yesterday &

to day ___ Self to Payne's for seed wheat & about

sundries till dinner, then make an ax-handle, & do all up_

27 Thursday . James about horses, draw in 3 load hardwood

for Father, 1 load hay to Cow-loft, John fodder

cattle &e, help clean up wheat, help down with

hay, thrash oats___Griffin thrash wheat, clean

up wheat & thrash again ___ Self to Ottawa ___

had to cross the ice, chain bridge being refrained__

28 Friday . James about horses in morn.., then to Ab t Lewis'

funeral, John the same, Griffin thrash wheat

Self mix wheat _ & measured it up in morn..,

To Aylmer for harrow &e got back to dinner about

2 ½ o 'C, then put in 2 ax handles, do up cattle &e___

29 Saturday . James about horses, draw in 4 load hardwood

for Father. John sundries & load sleigh in

morn.., then about house & steam tatoes till dinner;

then thrash oats ___ Griffin thrash wheat____

Self to Hull mill & on to Ottawa across ice___

30 Sunday . No Church _ Self took Kate &e

to Rob ts after dinner _ Ham

31 Monday . James about horses in morn. then draw in

1 load cordwood for Father, & 3 load to repay self,

John fodder cattle &e in morn.. about sundries &

clean up wheat by dinner, then measure & put it

in mill, then draw down a few train loads of

soft wood from opposite work-shop & do up cattle &e__

X Self weigh & stow away flour & about sundries till

dinner, then look to the wheat, weigh up wheat to

return Payne, mix up wheat, across for honey ______

X Griffin finish thrash wheat - about 9 o 'C. help clean

it up & put it in Mill, then thrash oats _______
