morn.., finish harrow peas^at 4 ½ o 'C, began to
roll them with new roller, Tom at sundries in Mc'Mullin 1 load hay 3/_
morn.. plough in Bannfield__ Self rig up new
roller, wash bush s .. Siberian wheat__ 3½ when clean, Served it in Woodfield fallow
2 Friday. James work sawmill, John about horses in morn..,
harrow wheat in Woodfield & help skin Con's Bl k .. heifer
till dinner, sort tatoes, help down with a load of straw,
Tom about cattle &e in morn.., roll peas & draw bl k .. heifer to
river by dinner, sort tatoes, draw a load of straw at sundries_
Self Sow wheat & look about till dinner, file mill saw & look about_
3 Saturday. James work Sawmill, roll logs to Mill & wash
some wheat till near 5 o 'C saw grain, John about
horses [-crossed-out word-] in morn.. finish plough Church field
at 6½ o 'C., Tom about house in morn.. plough in Barn__
_field for tatoes 1 st.. time, draw logs into Mill__
Self file soft wood saw, both hand saws by dinner,
help in with logs to Mill, wash 4½ bush s .. wheat____
4 Sunday. Church A.M. to saw in churchfield__ .
5 Monday. James work sawmill & do some repairs to flume,
John about horses in morn.., harrow wheat in church__
field about 4 o 'C. then harrow grass seed in Woodfield,
Tom about sundries in morn.., cart harrow from above road to..
Churchfield, then plough in Barrfield___ Self sow
wheat in Do__ (had to wash ½ bush s .. more) Sow grass seed in Woodfield__
6 Tuesday. James work Sawmill till noon , pile tatoe tops till 4 o 'C_
then roll grass seen in Woodfield, John about horses
in morn.. help down with straw & hay to Cow_loft, help
cast stones off Old Pigfield, Tom sundries & steam tatoes,
cart straw & hay to Cow_loft, then cast stone off Old Pigfield_
Self & Con.. to Wainman's with Charley & Dart___
7 Wednesday. James work Sawmill till about noon , pile & burn
tatoes, John about horses in morn.., help cart
tatoe tops, John about horses in morn.., help cart
stones till dinner, then at sundries, went for M rs .. Bridges'
buggy, then^plough Charley & Dart for about an hour in Old Pig_
field, Tom sundries in morn.. finish cart stones off
Old Pigfield by dinner, then finish plough back off white
Barn about 5 o 'C, then began plough.. tatoe land for wheat__
Self & Con.. to Williams with Spring & Dart - & then to Wainman's__
8Thursday. James work Sawmill till dinner, then repairs river fence
& Churchfield fence, John about horses in morn.. plough
in old Pigfield for wheat, Tom about house in morn..

9 Friday. James work Sawmill in morn.., wash Mr.. Bridges carriage
& take it home, at sundries till dinner, then on Sawmill,
John & Tom at sundries in morn.. finish plough tatoe land
about noon , at sundries till dinner, then plough in 16 Acre fields
for oats___ Self look about & butcher calf by dinner, then at sundries
10 Saturday. James work Sawmill till about 9 o'C. sort tatoes & down to
Robt s .. & Berry 's till dinner, then at sundries & in Sawmill,
John about horses in morn.. Harrow wheat in Old Pigfield till
about 6 o 'C. then plough in 16 Acrefield, Tom about house in morn..,
plough in 16 Acre field___ Self sow Bl k .. Sea, & at sundries
till dinner, then look about things & file mill_saw___
11 Sunday. Church P.M.
12 Monday. James work Sawmill, steam tatoes & at sundries, John
about horses in morn.. plough in 16 Acre field, Tom no
work before breakfast, then do _._ do___ Self at sundries_
13 Tuesday. James pile boards in morn.., sort tatoes in No.2 Cellar bags,
& pile boards till dinner, then work sawmill, John about
horses in morn.. plough in 16 Acre field till dinner, then
harrow land for tatoes, Tom sundries in morn.. plough in
16 Acre field till noon , saw wood till dinner, then finished head ridge
next head's in about ½ hour, hay on to plough hitch.. garden____
Self repair.. flume till dinner, then caulking boat_____
14Wednesday. James sundries in morn.. harrow oats in 16 Acre_
field by dinner, plough in Barnfield S o . side drain,
John about horses in morn.. then home ill, Tom sundries
in morn.. finish plough hitch on garden by dinner, then
plough in barn field S o .. side drain____ Self sow oats
in 16 Acre field by dinner, pitch boat, sow grass seed reset Read.
15 Thursday. James work sawmill & at sundries till dinner, then
cart dung with Charley, John about horses in morn.
