put a little hay on horse loft____Self sow grass seed in

morn.., put 3 hoops on water-kegs, bottle water & at sundries

till dinner, repair ^of..horse cart, sow grass_seed from sunset till night_

17Saturday. James pile pl k .. in morn.., cart dung till about

5 o 'C . then work sawmill, John about horses & cut a few sets

in morn., finish harrow grass seed in 16 Acrefield & roll

it by 6 o 'C , then at sundries, Tom cart dung ____ Self finish

sow grass-seed in morn.., nail bottom in horse cart & finish

pitch boat by dinner, file millsaw & about sundries_____

19Monday. James work sawmill, John sundries in morn..,

harrow oats in hopfield & finish plough in Barn -

field S o . Side drain by dinner; help in with logs to Mill &

cart dung, Tom sundries & take red cow to Benning's bull

in morn..steam tatoes, cart dung & draw logs to Mill___

Self cut little pigs in morn.. Then the calf, Sow oats in hopfield & put up ash barrel__

20Tuesday. James work Sawmill, John about horses & cut sets

in morn.. help in with logs to Mill till about 11 o 'C ,

then cart dung with Spring, Tom about house in

morn..draw 3 logs of T. Read's from river to Mill, &

draw to Mill the last of Fred & Co's logs by 11 o 'C , then cart

out dung ____ Self sundries till dinner, then to Fred's about Cow_

21Wednesday. James work Sawmill & do a little repair to dam,

John about horses & put his wife across in morn..,

Then spread dung in Old Pigfield for about two hours, then

plough it, Tom sundries & put his wife across in morn..

two load more & spread it by dinner, then help plough it__

Self refill ash barrel & at sundries till dinner, file Millsaw & look about__

22Thursday. James ill till dinner, then work Sawmill, John

sundries in morn.. harrow land in Old Pigfield & drill it

for tatoes, Tom feed pigs in morn.. then home ill ___ Self at sundries __

23Friday. James work sawmill & plant tatoes for a start in eve ng .,

John about horses in morn.., harrow oats in Barnfield

cut tatoes, & began to plant in Old Pigfield about 4 o 'C ___

Self sow oats & about sundries till dinner; at sundries & plant tatoes__

by dinner, repair bucket in water wheel, to Alicia's with Kate &e in horse cart__

27Tuesday. James at sundries in morn.. finish spread dung about

5 o 'C . Then cut tatoes, John about horses & cut tatoes in

morn..then plough, Tom sundries in morn.., spread dung

till about 4 o 'C . Then plough ____Self took sticks off the Colt

in morn.., lay down till dinner; put handle in rivet hammer__

28Wednesday. James cut tatoes in morn.., work Sawmill till dinner,

then chop sawlogs in woods, John finish plough for tatoes

by breakfast, cut tatoes till noon then help cut sawlogs,

Tom sundries in morn.., cut tatoes till noon , then help cut sawlogs,

Self put buffalo^e & coat in cask, then in woods about do_ ___

29Thursday. James work sawmill till dinner, then drill for tatoes,

John about horses & cut tatoes in morn.., harrow land for

tatoes by dinner, then cut till about 4 o 'C . Then began to plant,

Tom draw home 3 sawlogs, cut tatoes, & sundries, then plant____

Self at sundries and look about till 5 o 'C . Then cover the sets___

30Friday. James sundries and drop some sets in morn.. finish open drills

by dinner; then plant. John ill till dinner then help plant,

Tom ill,__ Rider plant tatoes from breakfast till night__

Self help plant tatoes till dinner, file millsaw & at sundries__

31Saturday. James work sawmill till about 5 o 'C , then clean out

tatoe bins, John finish plant tatoes about 5 o 'C , then at

sundries, Tom help plant tatoes, then draw in a log for George__
