1 Sunday Church A.M.

2 Monday. James , John , Tom at sundries till breakfast, wash sheep

by 10½ o 'C. then get dry clothes on & off to the Lake to fish_

Self at repairs about gig_wheel water gate & at sundries__

3Tuesday. James at Dunrough s .. John & Tom at repairs about

fence between shed & workshop & at sundries___

Self very poorly all day, help repairs fence___

4Wednesday. James in Sawmill till near 4 o 'C. then after

sawlogs in boat, John mend his shoes, Tom boil

2 boilers.. of snows & turn grindstone till dinner,

level a road between granary & corner of Church_yard,

then after sawlogs__ Self grind.. dinner knives & at

sundries till dinner, finish rack for drain in little Pigfield__

5Thursday. James in sawmill again, John sundries in morn..,

help get out sawlogs till dinner, harrow tatoes in Old

Pigfield & about sundries, Tom draw 2 logs from river to

Mill in morn.., then draw 8 from woods, & some cedars to

make fence higher between shed & workshop & a load for the lane__

Self look about sawlogs, file Mills cut, measure boards &e___

6Friday. James to the Interior about his boots, John sundries in

morn.. help down with 2 loads of oat, straw to Cow. loft,

& at sundries till dinner, repair fence up lane & help change

top logs between shed & workshop, Tom sundries in morn..

help down with oat_straw, & help at both the fences__

Self very poorly all day, put away wool, help at little Pigfield

fence___ Rider sheared the Sheep, began after breakfast__

7Saturday. James work sawmill & pile some rough edge

John at sundries in morn.., to John Wilson's after

a boat till dinner, to Rob ts .. for a wheel harrow,

then began dung heep, Tom sundries in morn, help

change little pigs from gran.. field to their own field &

help bring them, then make pickets till dinner, then at

sundries & notch on bunks___ Self finish cuts lambs

in morn.., ring little pigs, began to repair wheel barrow

before dinner, then at repairs about Sawmill, file fence auger_

8Sunday. Church P.M. but no parson__

9Monday. James in Sawmill in morn.. cut Saw logs till dinner,

then in Sawmill again, John sundries & to M r .. Read's

after a load in morn.. then help get out sawlogs, Tom

about house in morn.., draw home^4 Sawlogs till dinner, then

help cross out 3 logs & draw home 2____ Self about sundries

in morn.., in woods about Sawlogs, & repair g .. little wheal barrow__

10Tuesday. James work sawmill till dinner, harrow tatoes back

of white barn & in Sawmill again, John at home,

Tom about house & draw home 1 sawlog in morn.. then

draw stumps off 20 Acrefield & throw them into the river__

Self repair g .. wheelbarrow, file Millsaw, drive Dart &

Spring in wagon a little past Rob ts .. corner___

11Wednesday. James in Sawmill in morn.., about sundries &

in gristmill till dinner, then roll wheat in

churchfield, John sundries in morn.. at dung heap

& carry peas from gran.. to Mill till dinner, then

at dung again & mix wheat in Mill, Tom draw

home x3 sawlogs, then draw wood for george till dinner,

then at dung heap____ Self at sundries & grind

Prov d .. till dinner; put new box under [wanng].. wheel__

12Thursday. James work sawmill in morn.. fall & cross cut

sawlogs till 5 ½ o 'C. then bag the wood, measure up

wheat, John sundries in morn.. help at sawlogs till

dinner, then roll Bl k .. Sea in Old Pigfield, Tom at

sundries in Morn.. drew in Sawlogs from woods, left one

of them in drain fronting barn, after dinner crosscut

with James & at sundries____ Self repair.. wheel barrow,

in woods about sawlogs measure boards, poorly in eve g .._

13Friday. James in Sawmill till dinner, help at repairs in

Sawmill & pile boards, John at dung heap, Tom

about sundries & at dung heap____ Self finish repairg..

small harrow, after dinner at repairs about flume___

14Saturday. James at sundries in morn.., pile boards & at dung

till dinner, then work sawmill, John at dung.

Tom draw in one sawlog from woods & the one in the

drain in morn.. then at dung_heap ___ Self to the

woods in morn.. to look at 2 sawlogs, at repairs about flume & at sundries

till dinner,, then repairg.. large barrow, file Mill_saw, put a cog in gig wheel
