James about sundries and help free water-gates of both mills till dinner, then in gristmill, John about pigs, steam tatoes, help turn over dung-heap, Griffin sundries & saw wood till near 10 o'C, then began to turn over dung-heap____ Self look about things & free g water-gates till dinner, then work gristmill______

16 Sunday. Church A.M. Kate & the children went.

17 Monday. James fodder cattle & get up wash g water in morn - , steam tatoes, bring cattle off road, at dung-heap & sundries, John feed pigs & mix food till breakfast, then at wood for himself, Griffin at sundries in morn.. help hunt-up road cattle & at dung-heap till dinner, then at dung again & about sundries____ Self kill a roaster & at sundries till dinner, then at some repairs about front door of white barn, & to Edwards' &e on horse____

18 Tuesday. James fodder cattle & carry tatoes from cellar to kitchen till breakfast, steam tatoes, mix food, help up with porch, bank up his house till 3 o'C, then at dung-heap & sundries, John feed pigs & empty steamer till breakfast, then at wood for himself, Griffin saw wood & carry tatoes in morn - , saw wood again, at dung-heap & bank up N. West end of house till dinner, then dung & sundries___ Self at sundries & porch till dinner, then repair hen-house door & to Luton in single sleigh in the evening______

19 Wednesday. James fodder cattle, carry in tatoes for pigs from Cellar by breakfast, then at wood for himself, John about pigs, steam tatoes, help pull hair off 2 roasters, about dung-heap & sundries, Griffin saw wood, carry in tatoes in morn - saw wood again for a start, put Payne across & at dung-heap___ Self kill 2 roaster & at sundries till dinner, then at sundries again___

20 Thursday. James fodder cattle in morn - then at wood for himself, John about pigs, mix food, clean out cow-stable & about dung heap, Griffin saw wood in morn - , then at dung-heap_____ Self at sundries______

21 Friday. James fodder cattle & split junks of hardwood in morn - , finish dung-heap by dinner, clean cow house, saw wood for a start, then thrash wheat, John about pigs, steam tatoes, sort pigs cups in Cellar till near 4 o'C, then thrash peas, Griffin saw softwood in morn - , finish dung-heap by dinner, sort pigs tatoes for a start & saw softwood again___ Self split wood in morn - , finish iron band pig tub & at sundries till dinner, then after Jay & to Berry's___

22 Saturday. James fodder cattle & at sundries in morn - , carry in tatoes for pigs, clean out cow-house & saw wood till near 11 o'C, then in gristmill, John about pigs, steam tatoes, clean up peas till dinner, cart them to mill, clean out from pigs & calves, Griffin ill, did some painting about kitchen & helped clean up peas____ Self about sundries till near 11 o'C, then work gristmill____

23 Sunday. Church P.M.

24 Monday. James fodder cattle & carry in tatoes for pigs in morn - then dig out stones in Church-field, John about pigs, steam tatoes, then help at stones, Griffin gather up dung in front of horse stable in morn - then at stones___ Self & Rob t to the Interior as far as James M c Wortnee's___

25 Tuesday. James wheel dung from front of wood-fields in morn - finish draw stones out of the holes, then drill 2 stones, John about pigs, mix food in morn - help at stones till about 11 o'C, then about sundries, Griffin scrape up dung in front of horse-stable in morn - , help at the stones, then ill____ Self bargain g about bull, & at Benning's till near 11 o'C, then repair cow-yard gate, blast a stone & about sundries_____

26 Wednesday. James fodder cattle, feed pigs, fill up 4 bags tatoes for pigs in morn - steam tatoes, clean cow-house & saw hardwood till near 11 o'C then get things about saw-mill ready for work, saw 1 log into inch boards, pile up boards & p lk about pigs &e, John ill , Griffin ill ____ Self about sundries & sawmill till dinner, then file old cross-cut, fodder calves & cows____
