James about horses in morn - help butcher ox till dinner, then draw stones out of church-field, John about pigs & sundries till near 11 o'C, then thrash peas till dinner, then also help at stones, Griffin fodder cows & sheep and saw wood in morn - help with ox till dinner, then at the stones____ Self at sundries in morn .. butcher ox till dinner, then at sundries.

12 Friday. James about horses in morn . , help weigh ox, few water wheel & in gristmill till dinner, then work sawmill & help lay up mills for the winter, John about pigs, steam tatoes, boil two pots of Cups for run-abouts & about sundries till dinner, at sundries again & sweep up gristmill, Griffin split wood in morn . , clean out cow-stable, help weigh ox, then quick over the Cups & level them___ Self fodder cattle in morn - , about sundries & work gristmill till dinner, at sundries again & lay up the mills for winter__

James about horses in morn - , then carry up & weigh pork, wash barrels & tubs, salt pork, John shovel snow from back-door in morn - , then widen road to Cord-wood & make roads through it, Griffin fodder cattle in morn - , help carry up & weigh the pork, split both sorts of hood, & about sundries____ Self cut off the heads & saw down 3 of the pigs in morn - , then finish saw down, weigh & cut up by about 2 o'C, then at sundries & fodder cattle__
