16 Thursday. James & Muldoon about horses in morn:, then
lay up 17 logs, Griffin saw wood in morn:,
measure up peas & about sundries till noon, then
thrash wheat, George about cattle &c___ Self weigh
peas & at sundries till dinner, went to the funeral of
Mary-Anne Smith, then took Kate to Rob ts ____
17 Friday. James & Muldoon about horses in morn:
grind axes, fall & X-cut 14 logs, Griffin
thrash wheat, George about cattle &c____
Self took ox-sleigh to Aylmer , got back by noon,
loaded the peas got dinner, measured up a few
bush ls more out of Gran: off to Aylmer , took Peter ___
18 Saturday. James about horses in morn:, draw in
17 logs, Muldoon help at horses in morn:,
lay up 17 logs, Peter ^ recomenced_ saw wood in morn:,
help lay up logs, Griffin thrash wheat___
George about cattle &c__ Self to Ottawa___
19 Sunday. church A.M. Self stopped in do all night,
& to day till about 4 o 'C, got home about 6½ o 'C___
20 Monday. James about horses in morn:, to Aylmer ,
for ox-sleigh till noon, draw in 6 Sawlogs,
Muldoon water from river in morn: grind ax,
fall &X-cut 17 logs, Peter sundries in morn: help

Griffin thrash a few stuke & clean till dinner,

for X-cut & saw wood till near 3 o 'C, then
help at sawlogs, Griffin thrash wheat, George

on sawlog road in wood till dinner, then

got back to a late dinner, took Miss Butler home__
