Weigh hay, shut up road a-X fields, open lane,
Draw hay to Cow loft, draw logs to Mill, put away

22Tuesday. James at sundries in morn.., work sawmill till
About 3 o 'C, when the pitman broke; then to the
Woods for a stick of maple, Muldoon at home,
Peter & Griffin about horses in morn.. chop softwood,
George about cattle &e,_____ Self put a cog in
gig_wheel in morn.., file mill saw; repair floor
of Majer's stall, repair sundries in the colt stable,
make a handle for hatchet__ then to M r .. T. Read's_
23Wednesday. James about horses in morn.., help get out old
pitman, help grinf hatchet & chisel, pile
all the 2 inch plank, put saw dust on the ice &
about sundries, Muldoon at home, Peter about

Self making pitman till noon, then so poorly
remained in the house till about 2 o 'C, went at it
again for about 2 hours, when I had to leave it again

in morn.. took Spring & Poll to the forge & back
again before dinner without getting 'em shod,
off again with'em & my own nails for 4 removes_
Peter about horses in morn.., help skin the
heifer, grind an axe & at the 2 stumps in Woodfield__
Griffin split wood in morn.., skin the heifer, kill a calf,
sift peas, George about cattle &e, Self look about___
30Wednesday. James work sawmill, Muldoon about horses in
morn.., rig up harness &e & began to plough grass_
land in 16 Acre_field, Peter about horses in morn..,
then at the 2 pine stumps in Woodfield, Griffin
sift peas in morn.., at do & a root in do till
dinner, then plough pea stable in Woodfield,
the same piece he broke up last Spring______
George about cattle &e, to the brewery for
beer & at sundries till dinner, then trim g ..
grape vines____ Moran came at noon,
drill two stones in Woodfield & commenced on
one in 12 Acre_field_____ Self help rig
out horses & plough & set them to work, then lock
about till dinner, then about sundries & blast the two stones on
the land for tatoes_________
