2 Monday. James & Muldoon about horses in morn: lay up sawlogs; Griffin returned in the even g __
George about cattle &e__ Self a shade better__
3 Tuesday. James about horses in morn:, draw in 11 Sawlogs by noon, to Aylmer with Poll to get the lampas burnt, got back at 4 ½ o'C, then to M rs Bridges & Rob ts ; Muldoon about horses in morn:, thrash oats till dinner, then clean 'em up & draw down 2 loads pea-straw; Griffin thrash oats till dinner, help clean 'em up & help with the pea-straw; George about cattle &e__ Self not quite as well to day____
4 Wednesday. James about horses in morn: draw in 9 Sawlogs, & 3 loads hardwood; Muldoon about
horses in morn:, at sundries till near 9 o'C, then
to Ottawa in cutter; Griffin saw wood in morn:, thrashed 3 stukes oats & came away, he could not stand the cold, then saw wood; George about cattle &e, saw & split wood____

5 Thursday. James & Muldoon about horses in morn: fall & X-cut sawlogs; Griffin thrash oats; George about cattle &e,_ Self & Constance not quite so well to day_
6 Friday. James & Muldoon about horses in morn: lay up 19 Sawlogs; Griffin about cattle &e, shovel snow from about doors &e, saw wood____ George at home___ Self a shade better than yesterday, Con: pretty well__
7 Saturday. James about horses in morn:, draw 2 loads of carrots up from Black Hall; Muldoon about horses in morn:, draw in loads soft-wood, help put away carrots & about sundries____
