15 Sunday. Church A.M. Charley & John came up about noon, & returned about 4½ o'C, took Godf ry Greene down to Ottawa___ Self poorly all day__

16 Monday. James about horses in morn:, draw in 4 loads hardwood & to Berry for prov d ; Muldoon
about horses in morn:, out back of the lake
to serve notices on Greirson till 4 o'C, then
drive out Miss Butler; Griffin thrash
wheat; George about cattle &e___ Self better
again, file 2 nd hardwood-saw, repair a flail___

17 Tuesday. James & Muldoon about horses in morn:, cut & draw wood for George ; Griffin
thrash wheat till dinner, shovel snow off
a patch of ready to saw, thrash again__
George about cattle &e, rig up ash-barrel &
at sundries____ Self in house till dinner,
then to Aylmer in 3 seated-sleigh, took Miss Butler, Mary, Constance, Arab: & Godfrey_____

18 Wednesday. James about horses morn: & even g , draw wood for himself; Muldoon at home with sore hand; Griffin thrash wheat till near 4 o'C, help clean

dinner, thrash again till near sunset, then at sundries again; George about cattle &e, sweep kitchen chimney, saw wood & about sundries__ Collins saw g ice___ Self at sundries till dinner, then in cutter to Luton, J. Streets, Rob ts & the Post till about 4 o'C, Miss Butler with me, then salt Horses &e__

19 Thursday. James about horses in morn:, draw ice out by about 10 o'C, X-cut it by 4 o'C, bush round the hole, split wood_ Muldoon at home; Griffin thrash wheat in morn:, help at the ice till 4 o'C, saw & split wood; George about cattle &e, saw wood, clean out hen-house, empty & refill leech-barrel & about sundries;__ Collins finish saw ice by about 9 ½ o'C, patch stable floor, file old X-cut, make a floor inside cow's bails on a level with the out-side, then began troughs for do_ do_; Self very busy all day long about sundries & attending Collins____

20 Friday. James about horses in morn:, clean & measure up wheat till dinner, draw it down, draw 1 load hay to Cow-loft & 3 of straw; Muldoon at home;
Griffin thrash wheat till 8 o'C, help clean it up &e, & help with hay & straw; George about cattle &e, clear away water & ice from Old back-door, let off water from cellar window & at sundries till dinner, then saw & split wood; Collins finish off two troughs by 11 o'C, then off home___ Self put a new helve in Muldoon's sawlog ax & see to things till dinner, mix wheat, regulate wheat &e in Mill, then at sundries___

21 Saturday. James about horses in morn:, draw up ice on train & help stow it away; Muldoon not here; Griffin saw wood in morn:, help with ice; George about cattle &e, saw & split wood__ Self poorly in house all day__

22 Sunday. Church P.M. M rs Muldoon here this even g & until Monday-night__

23 Monday. James & Muldoon about horses in morn:, draw up ice on train & pack it away, Griffin ill___
George about cattle &e, saw & split wood, empty & refill leech-barrel__ Self at sundries in house till
dinner, then in cutter to Berry's, J. Streets, Allen's turn, Rob ts & home by the Brewery, Miss Butler with me__

24 Tuesday. James about horses in morn:, draw in 5 loads hardwood; Muldoon about horses in morn:,
draw 1 load hay to cow-loft & a small load pea-straw, (the last), weigh ½ ton of his hay by dinner, then grind axes; Griffin saw wood in morn:, help down with hay & the straw, help weigh the hay for himself, turn grindstone; George about cattle &e, saw & split wood & about sundries_____ Self about sundries & weigh hay for Muldoon till dinner, then in cutter up
lake-road & home by the Brewery, Miss Butler also,
