The Pinhey’s Point Foundation thanks its partners, members, donors, volunteers, and friends for their ongoing support.
The Foundation works cooperatively with the City of Ottawa staff responsible for the management of Pinhey’s Point Historic Site and for the events and programs presented there. We appreciate the exhibition funding and text translation assistance the Recreation, Cultural and Facility Services department has facilitated. We also gratefully acknowledge the financial support of the City through its Heritage Funding Program and Cultural Facilities Fund in accomplishing a number of collections management, exhibit and community outreach projects.
Funding provided by the Ontario Ministry of Heritage, Sport, Tourism and Culture Industries through its annual Heritage Organization Development Grant has provided welcome coverage of some of our outreach and administrative costs.
We also acknowledge the financial support from the Ontario Trillium Foundation (Government of Ontario) in 2003-2004 which assisted with collections assessment and conservation.
The Foundation is especially grateful to its members and other private donors for their continuing financial support and additions to our collections.
We are a member of the Capital Heritage Connexion (CHC) and host a publicity booth and exhibit every year at the invitation of the CHC to the annual public Heritage Day event it organizes with the City at Ottawa City Hall.
